Throughout the past year, Bits and Pieces was created in Modo Mero’s hometown in the countryside where he spent a lot of time experimenting with recorded sounds and created soundscapes inspired by the peace and quietness of his surroundings. The record therefore came to life in a playful way by gathering little ‘bits and pieces’ of these sessions and gluing them together as a whole. It displays glimpses of synthetic landscapes, leaving us in a dreamy world of atmospheres, all with a sense of kindness and warmth.

Celebrating the extensive history of electronic music while still exploring the limitless means of modern music production, Modo Mero is mastering the illustrious art of merging, fusing, and blending styles and sound. Whether you are floating in a nightclub or staring out the window on a late bus ride home, there is always a time and place to listen, drift away and letting your mind conjure up a story of your own.

When I heard that Stevie Nicks wrote 'Dreams' on top a disco/dance drum break, I knew the song had some dance DNA inside of it. Here is my take on this all time classic.
This is also the first collaboration I did on the On the Spot Sessions! On the vocals is the lovely Coco Norah, blessing the electronic beat with that soulful, human touch.
