It's been a very hot minute since I've posted anything, and I'm using this time in quarantine to reconnect with my artistic side, so the first step is posting more! I've been working on this cover on and off for a pretty long time, and I'm proud of how it turned out. I created a Japanese Vocaloid cover of this but decided against using it when I finished Dell's SOLSTICE English bank because I think their voice is suited for this song much better.

When I recently joined a Discord server for UTAU users, I came across this super cute UTAUloid named Elfie, and I decided to do a quick test cover! When I asked Anna/Elfie about her, she said she likes how Elfie sounds kind of robotic, so I instantly knew I needed to cover Toluthin Antenna with her. I got the idea to mash these together while daydreaming about how the "dishes are piling up, but that's cool cuz at least we got food," part of gec 2 Ü has a very similar feel to Beige Screen at 35 seconds in :D and it helps that both of these songs have a bit of a strange ending sequence so they fit together quite nicely~

I got the idea of using a remix after finding I0LITE's remix of "Through Me to You," and when I tell you I started balding after hearing @https://soundcloud.com/user-60060877 remix??????? Anyone who personally knows me knows my taste in music is H E A V Y, and this hits ALL the right spots. I added the countdown ad-lib after watching TMOoaK's PV, and I had a lot of fun messing around with it! I also added the ending "la la la" sequence because it felt lonely, and I really wanted to make use of the note shift near the end.
This was a HUGE project for me to work on, and I think I did amazingly on it. This cover utilizes 5 of Dell's VBs: SOLSTICE as the main vocals, DECAY as the vocal chop effect behind the bridge sequence, then DAWN-Lite, NEO, and TERRA in the ending ad-lib.
