Here is the first Modu Records release for the Second year of operation and you can clearly see how serious they are. 
Parallel Paradox are the newest members of the family. Based in Manchester and messing with Techno and Minimal sounds, the very promising Greek duo produces sounds full of freshness, creativity and of course quality. 
Their track Crying Horizons is a melodic winner, a sad but also encouraging story of their life. Beautifully combined old-school stabs, steady bassline, clear percussion and extraordinary melodic elements, all so nicely expressed that they simply cannot be ignored. 
On remix duties, Nick Varon delivers an elegant and at the same time powerful deep version of the original track. A unique bassline, beautiful percussion and a general background atmosphere included for your deeper sets. 
Next up, and lovers of driving melodic tracks are going to love the * David Granha* remix. He transforms the original track into a a large dance floor gem, capable of lighting a fire on the dancefloor. With its continuous flow, strong leads and crazy drums, David is undoubtably at his best. 
A stand out pack for every taste, and at this rate, Modu Records second year will be a biggie!

We've just found a new "ambassador" of Modu sound. Dealirium from Austria delivers his debut EP, introducing his modern underground sound. With certain tech house mood, tricky vocals and club oriented vision both original tracks of his work perfectly on the dancefloor. On remix duties, Hatchwork's boss Darren Flecta works on a more minimalistic way with "Way of Hope" vocals. With releases for Nick Warren's Hope and Renaissance, Darren is well known for his sound engineering and of course quality sound. Deep elegant sound in his first collaboration with Modu. Last but not less interesting at all, we have the comeback of DNYO. Danny remains loyal on presenting "tough" oldschool Techno perspectives when it comes to cooperating with Modu. Wearing the Modu hat for the 2nd time, he shows the necessary respect on the "Road to Success" original track, and obviously adds his own ideology regarding what exactly this road looks like...

Parallel Paradox are back, straight after their great "Crying Horizons" success. This time they not alone. Anne Llure delivers the vocals for one of the two original tracks in this pack, "Watching from a distance". This superb track sees melodic sounds and dark mysterious vocals supported by timeless beats, and all with a fresh unique vibe. On top the first of the remixes, and someone who has many tracks flying around Beatport's top 100, while having his music supported by Richie Hawtin on a regular basis, Anil Chawla is an established quality producer in the underground scene. Utilising many parts from the original track, he transforms it in to a dark vision of techno. Filling his edit with double layers of Anne Llure's vocals, the Indian star presents techno for seminars. The second original from Parallel Paradox is called "Dreaming by the Lake". Minimal edged but innovative electronic sounds that can blow your mind, especially when supported by that phenomenal bass line. Like a vision for your ears or a dream you wished never ended. Someone with huge music experience was needed for a remix on this special track. So that's why we've teamed up with Oliver Lieb. The owner of "Maschine" and "Solieb" labels has created a track that will last the test of time.
