Today with a guest mix by Aroy (@roy-bitton-472924729). Aroy is a French DJ and producer born in Paris. Passionate about music for many years, he began exploring the world of DJing. Fascinated by the emotion and energy that music can transmit, he began mixing at small parties with friends and in local clubs, seeking to perfect his style.

Aroy soon turned his attention to genres that allowed for great musical expression: Indie Dance, Melodic House and Techno. These styles allow him to blend hypnotic electronic rhythms with catchy, soulful melodies. Inspired by the pillars .

Today, Aroy continues to perform in clubs, always on the lookout for new venues, new sounds and musical experimentation. His aim is to push the boundaries of Melodic House and Techno, while remaining true to his roots and the musical heritage of his inspirations.

MODULAR RADIO #009 - Aroy studio mix from Paris, France

Synapse Disrupt | Techno & House Mix WLR02 | March 2025

This was definitely one of the most emotional and intentional sets I’ve ever played.

I had originally planned to open with a remix of M83 – Felsman that I had carefully prepared… but in the rush of the night, I completely forgot to upload it to my drive. Whether a happy accident or fate, I ended up starting with one of my own tracks — Simulation — and that decision shifted the entire mood of the set. It took things into a more indie and housy direction, still emotive, but less melodic than expected. And somehow… it just felt right.

Closing the festival once again — this time right after Mathame — came with a huge sense of responsibility. As the festival’s resident, I knew I had a role to fulfill. I stepped on at 5:25 AM and played through until 8:00 AM, holding the energy of both the dancefloor and the backstage in those last magical hours.

Just wanted to share a bit of context so you can understand the intention behind the music and why the set flowed the way it did.
