MODULAR PROJECT - SUBSTANCE EP [Beachcoma]

After Soulfooled (@soulfooled)kicked off the new year with an EP by the duo Aliot & Bunbeck, the second EP comes from Russian DJ & Producer „Mr Morek“ (@mrmorek). 

The EP is opened with a track called „Immunity“. A word that, these days finds a lot of attention in different political sections - so also the track breaks through any walls and barriers of genres and stereotypes.
On the second track „you can hear a lot of different fractions of electro house and melodic techno.“, claims Morek. „For me, this is something new and therefore I decided to call it „Ampere House“.

To finish off the EP, Mr Morek has chosen to write something more mysterious & magical. „Arcanum“ sticks to it, though not losing any from of energy, that has been built up through out the entire EP.

As a DJ, Mennez has been fighting the good fight for quite a while stirring up the nights in Valencia and Benidorm for years. As a producer, however, he is just kicking off his trajectory – and he couldn’t debut on a better label: The Spanish powerhouse Espacio Cielo is famous for opening its doors to skilled aspirant artists, and the team would never miss the opportunity of supporting another promising talent. The “Smooth Transition” EP comes with three well-constructed originals, one in collaboration with Sounic, another newcomer, and two outstanding remixes made by veterans Moo Moonster (SXDNS054/TAKEOVER002/RASTROLIVE008) & Futuristant (SXDNS353/FREEDL042) and Parissior (SXDNS206/FREEDL043/TAKEOVER002/BANDCAMP002/RASTROLIVE009), the label boss himself.

Premiered here, the title track is the result of the aforementioned collaboration between Mennez & Sounic. The Spanish rookies dressed in their space suits and flew up fast and high into their exploratory journey, bringing to life a Cosmic-Disco-infused theme that competently shows the credentials of the duo. The beautiful bassline, rhythmic percussive elements, melodic synth layers, and dreamy pad, together, constitute a must-have piece for the fans of high-quality Nu Disco/Indie Dance out there. Keep an eye on the lads, will you?
