Going from vinyl old school cuts, hardgroove to a three deck trance trip.
What a lovely day, Open Air summer closing event. 100% good energy.

Turned out a bit crunchy because of the levels.. but hey, this is what we like.. :D

Comrade Winston could not have wished for better soil to grow as a DJ. The scene in his hometown of Nijmegen, located in the eastern part of the Netherlands, has given him ample opportunities to hone his skills. Now based in Amsterdam, his sound has caught the ear of many music enthusiasts, dancers and promotors.  

Fast mixing techniques and a taste for old school records with real groove and funk have achieved mayhem on many dance floors and have given him a strong reputation within the techno community. These abilities at the decks have earned him a position as a steady player at the infamous Reaktor parties as well as a residency at Operator Radio.

With no signs of slowing down, Comrade is ready to take the past into the future.

Before having played in major cities like London, Vienna, Paris and Berlin, where she resides today, Caniche developed her penchant for hard but groovy techno early on. Since the beginning of her career as a DJ and producer, her work falls on a continuum between tooly hardgroove spiked with tribal elements and trap vocals, as well as full-on schranz. 

As co-founder of the female DJ network PUSH, Caniche fiercely fights for more visibility and equal treatment of FLINTA artists in the harder techno scene. A goal her crew currently achieves with a residency at Tresor’s reoccurring New Faces Night as well as events throughout Vienna and Berlin.

Specific Objects is a Berlin-based techno DJ, producer and owner of Twice Infinity Records. Having established himself in his hometown of Vienna as a resident DJ for the renowned Meat Market event series and a valued member of Wiener
Gerüstbau, the artist now finds himself immersed in the heart of the techno capital.

Transitioning from a career in photography to music, Specific Objects passionately pursues his vision of reinstating the groove in hard-hitting, high-tempo techno.
With notable releases on esteemed labels such as Akronym, Inherit, Mitsubasa and Introspective, he consistently showcases his ability to effortlessly blend contemporary funky styles with inspiration straight from the early 2000s.

Maintaining a perfect balance between the modern and the old school, his performances exude a dynamic energy that keeps the crowd captivated, devoid of any reliance on cheap tricks.

Caniche //

From Berlin via Vienna to London, Paris and Madrid – for fans of Hardgroove all over Europe, there is no way around Caniche. Oscillating between tooly, rough and funky, her sets are packed with Rap-reminiscing vocals and Tribal elements – while old school percussions build the rhythmic foundation.

Caniche’s signature sound is also reflected in her productions. With a highly energetic track on Twice Infinity's sub label Groovecore United, an upcoming VA contribution on Numerus
records and her debut EP scheduled for 2024, she already has a solid list of releases under her belt.
And there is yet more to come.

Hitting the decks at clubs like Tresor, OXI or ÆDEN, Caniche is a regular in Berlin’s most renowned booths. What’s more, her sound and spirit have long gained popularity outside of the German capital, bringing her into exceptional clubs such as Vienna’s Grelle Forelle, London’s Corsica Studios, Munich’s Rote Sonne, and soon also IFZ in Leipzig as well as Tresor West in Dortmund. No wonder – as she simply knows how to properly heat up a floor with her distinct flair for the right groove.

Co-running PUSH Network, Caniche is one of three local residents, hosting the New Faces series at Tresor. Besides their residency at the legendary Berlin club, PUSH also hosts workshops and reoccurring events in Berlin and Vienna. The network fights for more visibility and equal treatment of FLINTA artists in the electronic music scene. Connecting people across Europe, PUSH aims to be a source of support, inspiration and new approaches in the industry.

Erik Burka is a Latvian born & Dublin raised DJ/Producer, also known by his duo alias Spedrik focusing on high intensity rhythms & locked grooves.
Originally finding his feet in the hardcore scene, Erik’s naturally progressed into the more groove based spectrum of techno.
With a plethora of unreleased tracks that have seen support from the likes of Alarico, Kettama, SHDW & Obscure Shape, Lars Huismann and more, the future is extremely bright for the young talent.
With a mixing style that utilises multiple decks he continuously pushes the pace with high octane energy and an emphasise on making sure the dance-floor doesn’t stop moving, a relentless assault.

Dublin native Aero has become of the most prolific Irish techno artists within recent time, as the youngster carves out a career that is wrapped around the foundations of purist techno.
The Dubliner’s punishing style of techno has been haunting Irish dancefloors for overhalf a decade, as Aero’s deep knowledge of techno see’s him weave through hard edged and funk-laced techno cuts from various time periods.
Aero has played alongside some of techno’s most formidable names, from Stef Mendesidis & Dax J through to SHDW & Obscure Shape & Sunil Sharpe, to name a few. Aero is one of the most trusted warm up DJs in Ireland, but is also equally versed in pulverising a dancefloor at peak time.
Outside of the club Aero’s productions have been seeing heavy support from
arguably some of the most influential DJs of our time from Freddy K, Amelie Lens, Slam, Richie Hawtin, Marcel Fengler & many more. With some more 12 inches forthcoming and a mountain of unreleased music 2024 is expected to be a colossal year for Aero.

LUMERTZ is a Brazilian DJ and producer currently based in Melbourne, Australia. His music style is built on top of percussive grooves and hypnotic synths inspired by classic Detroit and Berlin Techno. With presentations couched by an intense and energetic rhythm, LUMERTZ guides the dance floor on an intense trip full of looped sounds that aim to awaken the crowd's deepest feelings.
 
 During his trajectory, LUMERTZ has not only conquered his space on the Australian scene but also started to make his way on the world stage by building a solid name for himself through his music. Proof of that can be seen by his first Europe tour in 2023 during Amsterdam Dance Event and on his music's support in festivals and clubs like Awakenings, Berghain, DGTL, Sonus, Monegro, Neopop, Space Miami. and by artists such as Richie Hawtin, Truncate, Slam, Juliet Fox, Sama' Abdulhadi, Justine Perry, and many more. In 2023, after a period of 'rebranding' and self development as a producer, he started to release new songs showing his new strong identity, catching up attention and signing up releases with labels like Soma, Tronic, Noise Music, EvilGroove, Safe Space just to mention some.
 
With no doubt LUMERTZ can be seen consolidating his steps in the world's music scene and presenting himself as a powerhouse of Techno artists new generation

Born in 1987 in the North of France, François has been immersed in electronic music since a very young age. His debut in mixing took place in 2001, and it was only natural that he turned to composition in 2005. The year 2019 marks his emergence under the pseudonym "Fhase 87"
After a few months and numerous releases on different labels, he acquired the support of many international DJs such as Laurent Garnier, Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Sam Paganini, Dax.J , Perc or Cleric, to name a few.
in 2021, he launched 2 labels, "Lemegeton" (a series of 18 vinyls inspired by the eponymous grimoire dating from the 15th century) & "French Loops" a series of Raw techno/Tribal tracks that have marked many artists and listeners across the world
Oscillating between Detroit Techno and Chicago Techno, his quality playlists and energetic mixing style enliven and make his audience dance.

The show consists of a roster of different artists, all with varied approaches towards techno and electronic music more broadly.
They unveil their sound to you - the listener - and even try to push themselves to deviate from their usual sound, providing
listeners with a unique opportunity to hear sets that differ from their usual repertoires.
