Like most of my uploads so far, this is an experiment created over the course of three days. I originally wrote this song in one night, as part of a theatrical performance in which I could influence different layers of the composition by using hand gestures (made possible by the Leap Motion and my own software written for this purpose). Since it was made in one night, there was a general lack of polish and intention. Although it was sufficient to support my impromptu theatrical idea, I wanted to make a more polished version one day.

This one is made in three days, and therefore still far from perfect. It is mainly an experiment with a more digital kind of sound plus this is my first piece since I realized you shouldn't mix on headphones - however expensive they are. I'm still struggling a lot with mixing and mastering, so anyone who's reading this who also has more expertise than I do AND has some tips to share, feel free to enlighten me in a personal message.

Introducing "Radiance", the latest product from my loud, obnoxiously musical brain. After releasing my mammoth of a previous track "Subspace Cavaliers", I decided to go in a different direction and write something simpler and easier to nod your head to unwittingly. I started this project in May 2015 but put it on hold when I began researching and considering options to make it into a cute as hell music video. When the music video idea fell apart I decided it's time to get back on the horse and push this song out to the world. I hope you enjoy it and tell all your cool friends.

For our 13th release, we decided to prepare something a bit different for you this time. We’re happy to have the American dj/producer Barren Gates back on Future Generation with his heavy trap single ‘Area 51’, which stands true to his futuristic signature style, being at the same time a fresh addition to our catalogue. Due to its well-fitting style, we take the right to name it unofficially the anthem of the forthcoming viral event, which is set for mid-September.

Like Barren describes the process and theme of the release: “Area 51 started off as a WIP with only the drops fully written, the breakdowns felt fairly bare and I couldn't find any inspiration for them for a while. After hearing about the raid of Area 51 meme starting to go viral on social media, I decided to try to shift the direction of the track towards that theme as the drops already had somewhat of a futuristic sound to them. I then proceeded to design several glitch-like articulations for the intro and worked in some sample vocals to better define the theme of escaping from Area 51."
