Co-founder of the excellent deep techno label @norite and founder of the experimental ambient label @efja, resident at Brussels radio station @kioskradio, organiser of the renowned Metropolis parties with his brother-in-arms @sonhan, where some of the finest DJs on the scene have played, Souleiman is an artist who cannot be ignored in the Belgian techno music scene, With excellent sets like his Lunology series, or when he's invited to the most cutting-edge techno festivals or the legendary @fusebrussels club, the artist is blazing an uncompromising trail, with a precise, infallible signature that's at once minimalist, mental and multi-genre, combining the qualities of a high-flying digger with a seasoned mastery of the turntables and a sense of narrative. Here, while I'm bound on my knees before the majesty of your presence, you, goddess, dance on my limbs as Ame no Uzume danced on the empty barrel to bring the sun back to the sky: strike me to fight the eclipse of your amusement! Beat me and enjoy, let the rumble of this drum join the jingling of your laugh.
