All of our long-time supporters will know by now that our label is all about friendship and collaborarion - bringing artists from all around the world together to pursue a sound which they all adore. As a result of building up such a network, we have been collecting more songs over the last couple of months than we could ever hope to release conventionally. Party people, superfriends, podcasters and back-to-back buddies: This ain't the first time DJ heavyweights Oliver Koletzki and andhim join forces. However, "Branka", the second sneak-peak of Oliver's forthcoming "Trip to Sanity" album, marks the maiden studio collaboration between the three veterans of the field. Neither happy nor sad, RAINDROPS balances bright synth progressions with dreamy vocals to transmit an astoundingly melancholic mood. Sainte Vie masterfully takes advantage of the freedom afforded by the progressive and melodic techno genres to pair a rhythmic, catchy, and richly layered track with poetic lyrics. The vocals invite the listener to think of a time when “fear wasn’t around” while the beat picks up energy. The buildup is reinforced by the melodic singing, culminating in an expansive drop. Following the drop, the track’s lead synth goes up an octave, extending the sensation of climax. Sainte Vie treats us to a constellation of emotions in a harmonic iteration of his eclectic production style.

On “Candyflip”, the third sneak peek of his forthcoming “Trip to Sanity” album, Oliver Koletzki shifts gear and puts the pedal to the metal. The EP’s title track is pure forward momentum with its neon synth euphoria that rushes over a muscular body, generously pairing menacing bass with percussive storytelling. Next up, the arppaggio-driven “Mantra for Bora” settles somewhere between Psy-Tech and Italo, craftily working tropes of both into a climax of total dissolution. No matter the elements, one thing’s clear – Koletzki is ready to overtake. “Chasing Holes” then literally flips the candy on its head, taking off on auto-pilot, fueled by flamenco guitar licks and funky hand drums a-top a strong house groove. A word of advice, fellow ravers: Buckle up for a joyride through the depth of night – sunrise is on the horizon.

▼ Modul Kollektiv has had a prosperous career producing under numerous synonyms within various genres, however with the arrival of his new moniker the budding artist is set to cement himself as one of the hottest bourgeoning producers within the realm of deep house. Late 2014 saw the elusive German producer’s debut release ‘Farbenfroh’ on Dirty Soul, a track name which translates to ‘colour’ and was suitably picked up by Holi Festival to be used as the promo track for their paint fuelled festival. Now with his colossal ‘Control’ release coming out on March 3rd on Kittball it unquestionable 2015 will be his most fruitful year to date.

Title track ‘Control’ takes no prisoners by delivering a sullen synth before a heartfelt vocal and fluttering atmospherics enrich the track with an elevating sensation that ought to fuel dancefloors throughout the year.
