We're excited to indroduce .subd as the 4th sound architect of this podcast!

Coming from the favela of São Paulo, .subd met this type of music by chance. While he grew up surrounded only by funk, rap and lowland football, when he encountered this type of sound he fell in love with it.

Since 2014, he has been involved in several projects and he slowly defined his musical identity, reaching today's intricate and organic sound.

Popping in here with a wee update from the Hushlamb camp.  After 10 + years of throwing music focused events, radio and nurturing our label project we have decided to take an undetermined pause.  We have always moved based on creative spark and flow.  We held this philosophy dear as it kept us in our groove and our truth in all things music and vibe.  It' s from this same place that we are moving these days - each in our own grooves; each in loving awareness for where we are at and openness to what is next on our paths.. 

Music remains at the heart of Hushlamb and the day may come where we spark it up again.  In the meantime, we give this closing Free Range set and a world of gratitude to all those who have graced our dance floors, shared their wonderful creative energy with us as a crew and in their music contributions (too many to name here) which have been, in our humble opinion, hella GOOD!

Born in Croatia , Koprivnica, April 11th 1980, and living in a small city called Križevci.
He has had passion for electronic music ever since 1998, when he heard some DJs in his home town for the first time.
After a while, he got his first program for music production and stared making music for his friends, just for fun.
A lot of time has passed since, and today he produces Deep and Underground music, and just wants to produce some good vibes and get people to be happy on dance floor.

In 2013 as the Balearic scene was changing in his native Spain, Javier Baz felt a magnetic pull draw him to Germany. The melting pot of Berlin’s club culture is as potent as it is transformative, and making the move he was thrust headfirst into a period of deep musical exploration. Spending countless hours digging into obscure minimal and deep techno productions, whilst soaking up the unrestrained artistry and expressionism on display at the local clubs. Over the subsequent years under his @Suburbial alias, Javier began gaining support and respect amongst his peers, with his productions being played in celebrated institutions like Globus (Tresor), Hoppetosse & Club der Visionaere. Galvanized by these milestones he shifted his focus more heavily into music production, experimenting with new machines, instruments, and modulars. His defined producing style has gone from strength to strength, now ranging from submersive techno to deep minimalistic and organic sounds. Always aiming for a harmonic evolution that is both energetic and enigmatic. His masterful approach to music has seen him signed to reputed labels like @CurteaVeche and @Rotatemusic, with more releases inbound on different labels, alongside his self-styled imprint @DeepnosiS.
