also album art trivia: the background is an interpretation of the great Willie Nelson's ep 'stardust' and the tree is actually a happy humanity-kind-of version of the tree of life. since. yah.. Charlie said so.

album art facts: this time I only used atmospheric sceneries that have been shot in finland, rovaniemi (to - sort of - set a basic theme for this song) and layered three hauntingly beautiful aurora borealis' pictures on top of each other

as this weeks vinyl I used Liam Gallagher's 7" 'Wall Of Glass' record – musically not exactly the perfect fit, but DOES IT NOT LOOK AWESOME with those mosaic-like drawings on it??! +1 on the mystery side, I'd say ;)

I know, it has been a while. but I'm really happy to see you here. I hope you're doing freakishly good. <3

..to the track you say? right on. a really fun project to participate in the official #Splice remixcontest featuring a challenge from marvelous #KishiBashi with his track #honeybody (go check that and him out). 

specs? aaalrighty, my friend: I followed an 808-driven chill trap/ hip hop approach with added ambient soundscapes and dynamic percussion and pad stuff. all to enrich those very delicate harmonies around kishi bashi's voice. I almost never work with "happy" melodies, so of course I mixed in some minor-chords here and there. overall I really like that bouncy vibe. oh, and yeah - the challenge was to burst 1.danceability 2.danceability and 3.danceability.
