Mo Funk mo fun, mo vibes, mo collabos… Robsoul regular Mo links with fellow Aussie and rising talent Alex Preston for three out-and-out top shelf jacking house bangers. ‘When It Comes To Love’ breaks the ice with its sense of fun and musical mischief. A big vocal hook on loop and funk in every element, it’s an instant feel-good cut that’ll have strangers smiling to each other within seconds. ‘Let Me See You Work’ is where strangers become friends. A sublime disco trip with weaving arpeggios and a heads-down neon chug, it’s a fast-lane freak out to 2am with no stops or returns.

Australian duo Alex Preston and Mo’Funk return with the third installment of their hugely popualr Secret Weapons series on Robsoul Recordings. Building on the success of Volumes 1 and 2, which delivered club favourites When It Comes To Love, Let Me See You Work, and Zone, the pair continue their funk-fuelled House mastery with two fresh dancefloor-ready joints.
The latest chapter, Secret Weapons Vol. 3, is packed with their signature blend of grooves, and they lead the charge with Movin’ Up – a horn-laden, disco-tinged bumper with infectious sing-along vocals. Complementing is Twang, a perfect party-starter with slick guitar licks, irresistible bongo rhythms, and a low-slung bottom-heavy bassline.
Fans of the series have even more to celebrate, as those favourites from the first two volumes, alongside Movin’ Up, are set to feature on a limited-edition vinyl release, ensuring these muscular-funk hits become timeless collector’s pieces.

Australia's it-guy nu-disco producer Mo'funk shares another caution-to-the-wind wax piece by way of his native label Only Cuts. His second release on the label following the nominally unspecified 'Only Cuts Vol. 1', this follow-up record has, by contrast, been termed a "slam jam", and prefers irreverent moods and r&b samples. The A2 'Lllove' is especially arresting, sampling LL Cool J's 'Loungin'' and working it into a perpetual firing of choppy, chicken pickin' guitar and lurching kicks.
