A project that feels both spontaneous and crafted, made for the club as much as for deep listening.

For this 6th podcast, we will focus on a label. And I have the pleasure of welcoming the friends of @sekhemrecords, a young label from Grenoble that has already proven itself with two amazing records, bringing together quite a few aesthetics under their banner.

I am chatting with Martin, Quentin, and Romain, 3 of the 5 djs and founders of the Sekhem sound system. We are going to talk about their vision of music, how they work, about Sekhem 003, their journey with a lot of turmoils and evolutions before they manage to build the label. Then we'll listen to a set by Nafissa two, one of the two missing djs from the band. A set which represents Sekhem and which will not leave you indifferent.

This VA brings together electronic artists from around the world, united in solidarity with the people of Gaza. In the face of silence and inaction from our governments, we believe it’s our responsibility, as artists and human beings, to contribute however we can.

SawtPalestine is an independent association founded by Ahmed Jome, a Palestinian based in Marseille, with the mission of building a bridge between Gaza and the World. Their work focuses on supporting orphans and displaced families in Gaza, especially those with no contact or aid from the outside.
On the ground, a local team operates daily to provide direct financial, emotional, and recreational support to children and families in need. Long-term, SawtPalestine aims to build an orphanage.

Since its creation, the association has also launched a traveling Palestinian kitchen, collaborated with activist networks and artists from different fields, and organized events to raise awareness of the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
