The nature and context of this hyper-’Western’ city can be heard in the pieces we created, but it is also infused with each of our own translocal histories, desires and voice.

Nuclear Sludge - Slaughter

The second release from experimental arts collective Under My Feet. comes from Incendie – the solo moniker of Berlin-based multimedia artist Arthur Bdt.

Known for his work as part of various collaborative projects such as ATT Corp (with Templer), Human Spine, and Axes of Fire, ‘Relief’ is Bdt’s debut album, and acts as a musical diary used to express and accept his feelings; marked by grim and abrasive sonics, this work and its composition are based around the need to face fears and uneasy emotions. Merging contemporary electronic music with metal and noise influences, Incendie defines the sound of the record through the blending of drone, industrial and deconstructed club sounds with heavy guitar and vocals.

The Picatrix is the name used today, for a 400-page book of magic and astrology originally written in Arabic under the title غاية الحكيم Ghāyat al-Ḥakīm, which most scholars assume was originally written in the middle of the 11th century, though an argument for composition in the first half of the 10th century has been made. The Arabic title translates as The Aim of the Sage or The Goal of The Wise.

Picatrix is a composite work that synthesizes older works on magic and astrology. One of the most influential interpretations suggests it is to be regarded as a "handbook of talismanic magic". Another researcher summarizes it as "the most thorough exposition of celestial magic in Arabic", indicating the sources for the work as "Arabic texts on Hermeticism, Sabianism, Ismailism, astrology, alchemy and magic produced in the Near East in the ninth and tenth centuries A.D.

Mogano is the moniker of the electronic music producer Marco Berardi.
Based in Berlin since 2012, his sonic work is developed around re-processing traditional musical instruments into soundscapes and doomy, polyrhythmical drums textures. 
Exploring techno, ambient, experimental and bass music spectrum both as Dj and Live performer, his music has been hosted at Contort (NewCodes - Berlin Atonal), Flussi Media Art Festival (IT), Tresor Berlin, ATOM Festival (Ukraine), OHM Berlin, Saturnalia Macao (IT), Krake Festival (Berlin), Freqs Of Nature (DE), Spektrum - Art Science Community (DE),  RoBOt Festival(IT) amongst many others. 
  
Since 2013 he is also curator and co-owner of Arboretum, an imprint founded with the visual designer Andrea Familari/FAX.
