Taking the reins if our number 10 is our main dog Louiv, taking us back to Sunset Campout with this recording that shook many heads and we are stoked to bring it back to you to relive that moment.

They said it couldn't be done. A single USB couldn’t handle so much sauce. So many styles couldn't be mixed without losing the crowd. It might have worked in the 90s, but times have changed. They said a lot of things… But on the 14th of July, at the Ritual Gatherings festival in Bulgaria, the naysayers were proven wrong. 

Many there that day said it was the moment they first gained pelvis awareness. At least 17 people were reported to have called their mothers immediately after the final track. An overlooked Bulgarian techno legend who hasn't spoken at a party since 2005 set his Rakia on the bar, nodded approvingly, and uttered a single word… “добре”

A lone cassette tape made it out of Bourgas that night - surreptitiously recorded by an unknown local. We're thankful that this moment in dance music history was captured, for it is a testament to the power of good music, the indefatigable human spirit, and the long-standing love between Afriqua and the Bulgarian people.

Having now over 2 decades in the game, legend is a perfect description for Mr. G aka Colin McBean. His vast contribution to dance music is the example of a real artist and his unique vibe has carved the memories of ravers throughout the years.

Initially in the 90s, Mr. G was part of different aliases producing revolutionary music and touring the decks around the world with astyle of techno before starting his career on his own. By the end of the decade, Colin foundates his label Pheonix G pioneering a brand of eltronic tech-funk that rapidly attracted attention.

His exceptional talent and innovation quickly released on acclaimed labels like Defected, Duty Free and more, while also remixing and collaborating with world-class artists from the underground. In the following years, Mr. G consolidates as an idol of the industry and releases some of his most marvellous music under the Rekids label, receiving praise by the top critics.

In the present, Mr. G continues with a fierce passion for music, making people dance around the world with energetic performances and a share of love that no other DJtransmits. Few artists have been able to fill people's heart like Mr. G has done through his career.

The thirteenth instalment of the series has been recorded by Palace Vinyl resident, Mr Cenz. 

Cenz was a key proponent in the early fusion of Techno and House and his sound weaves it's way through a full spectrum of electronic music drawing inspiration from the initial waves of house, techno and electro as much as contemporary releases. 

As a purveyor of most things electronic, funky and groove-ridden it often becomes hard not to be drawn in when he plays and equally easy to be mistaken between old and new music. 

Cenz has had three decades of experience as a DJ and is the former label boss of the infamous, Organised Sound and Affected Music. He is also the man behind the renowned Lo-Kee moniker and has recently repressed a portion of OS001 alongside two new cuts on the newly formed Palace Trax imprint (PT001). 

It is with great pleasure we present this two and a half hour exploration into underground electronic music from a good friend of ours. It's as classy, understated and low-key as it is serious.

Seven hours recorded from the all night b2b between Christoffer aka C.K and myself. There isn't a lot of recordings from marathon sets up online, so thought this would be a nice one to share for those of you who like a long uninterrupted ride.

C.K and I are both from Denmark, and our friendship goes a long way back. We worked together on a vinyl only podcast in the late 00's on blogspot.com for those of you who remember those times digging through blogs and Myspace. Since then C.K has been producing amazing records and doing fantastic mixes on his Safe Radio series (highly recommended!) as well as help the local scene with a wonderful voluntary-run venue 'Super' in the city of Aarhus in Denmark.

It has been a long enjoyable ride to run my label Delaphine for 10 years, a ride of surprises, and this night was a such a ride as well. A fun back-to-back ping pong of followups, layups, and curve balls. We hope you enjoy the ride.

Thanks to the always amazing Aether Club team that consistently throughout the years have provided such an amazing space for electronic music in the heart of Budapest.

S.A.M. b2b C.K (DELAPHINE 10 YEARS!) @ AETHER BUDAPEST 24.9.2023.

The Berlin based, Ukrainian duo of E.Lina and Annyrock have been making their way through a serious amount of parties in recent years. From gracing the decks at Berlin’s finest raves to heading off on their combined travels, this pair of artists are a force to be reckoned with when in solo mode but when side by side they demand attechtion. Having starred at the recent Amsterdam Dance Event parties that included VBX, SlapFunk and of course our own party at Hoppetosse back in April. 

It was of course only a matter of time before we just had to get E.Lina and Annyrock in for our InSession series. Combining club-ready sounds that straddle punchy house, ethereal acid, and a smattering of atmospheric techno. We can guarantee that you will be seeing and hearing a lot more from this duo in the coming months and years, and with a mix as great as this it is clear to see why.
