Last Forever Records was established by Italian DJ & producer Tommy ‘Turbojazz’ Garofalo and is set to make more waves in the dance music scene. The imprint focuses on delivering a full spectrum of high-quality dance vibes already displayed by its quality roster and monthly momentum with artists like Javonntte, Sean McCabe, EVM128, Piers Kirwan, Parker Madicine, Moondance, June Jazzin’, Laesh and more.

Tommy Garofalo, aka ‘Turbojazz,’ is also co-founder of the group Jaxx Madicine, and has been around the scene for twenty years. He’s had numerous tasteful productions on labels like GAMM, Local Talk, BBE and Defected, and has become a real figure of reference in the Italian underground scene! His highly energetic sets are expressed through the house, funk, disco, and warm techno genres that he loves. Turbojazz has DJ’d globally sharing the decks with Moodymann, Gilles Peterson, Mr Scruff, Jimpster, Kode9 and Benji B.

As the pilot single for his stunning album that drops at the end of the year, Turbojazz brings us ‘The Standard.’ When I first heard this track a few months back it stopped me in my tracks. Goose bumps all over, thoughts of Robert Glasper and 4Hero filled my head. ‘The Standard’ is the suite in which Turbojazz kicks off his debut album ‘Whateverism.’ This cut is six minutes of a few well combined elements that compose a sparkling journey into the roots of nu jazz, with Tommy’s unmistakable twist between broken beats and house. Prepare yourself for unpredictable changes and fusion bridges of piano, drums, synths, and bass for the perfect feel-good, pepped-up beauty of an album opener
