Deeply Organic║ An Organic House Mix by MOH ║ April 2022

Hello Everyone, and welcome back to our weekly Exclusive podcast. Scouring the world for the coolest beats we can find, and the players making them.... THIS is the  Progcast.

Continuing on with our tour of England this week, we take a journey to the Midlands, where resides an artist very familiar with us. Continually pushing the boundaries, always testing the limits, and back for his second visit to the series, check this out.... from Kiz Pattison!

Birmingham (UK) based DJ and Producer Kiz Pattison, has over the last 9 years, slowly cultivated a unique darker edged progressive techno sound, a sound that is now in high demand.

In this short time, he's created an impressive discography with releases on some of the underground’s finest labels; Balance, BeatFreak, Forensic, Platypus, Renaissance, Selador, and Zero Tolerance, to name a few...

In the beginning, a young Kristian would find himself at clubs like Wobble, House Of God, Cream, Code/Air, The Bomb and Fabric, like so many of us being influenced by the sounds and skills of Sasha, Digweed, Burridge, Lawler, Pappa and Tenaglia. 

Its clear that these influences have forged Kiz's sound, then and now. As time moved on and Kiz delved into production, he called upon references from BT, Quivver, and Dave Seaman, evolving with them as they have evolved through the years.  

Now the circle is complete, as those very same artists now play and sign the tracks Kiz has to offer. Artists  like Anthony Pappa (Freefall), Simon Berry & Luke Brancaccio, Dominion(Nigel Dawson)and Pako & Frederik have all had the remix treatment by him. Whilst his own productions have been remixed by luminaries such as Stelios Vassiloudis, Hernan Cattaneo, Robert Babicz & Renato Cohen.

All of this attention brings the live gigs, and you can catch Kiz at I-Occupy in Hereford UK soon, with lots more in the pipeline too.

With 15 years of DJing under her belt, C-lyn's passion for progressive electronic music continues to rise. It all started when she attended a few old school Philly raves when she was just a teenager. Her passion truly skyrocketed when she stumbled upon the legends themselves, Sasha and Digweed, at the famous NYC club Twilo. Not long after that, her music and DJ friends started to encourage her to get into DJing herself as they recognized her insane passion for the music she loved. Since then, she has been invited as a guest on Frisky radio for numerous guest shows, she had a residency with the Progressive Beats Radio for 3 years and now is loving being a part of the Subcode Radio family. C-lyn loves to bring out the deep and dark techy and smooth vibes of Progressive which always promises to take you on a musical journey which will leave you wanting more!
