The German DJ and producer Alexander Gerlach started his project Niconé in 2007 in order to combine his two passions, fashion and music. Over the last few years, he has collaborated with Sascha Braemer, Philip Bader and many others. His music fits no usual genre, it is much more a feeling. The feeling of when the dancefloor, full of strangers, unites to become a homogeneous mass, dancing to a common beat. We only release music we absolutely love, and so we are proud to present yet another very talented artist on Truesounds Music - Italy-based Unstable Son, with his new 4-track EP, Dystopia.

The title track ‘Dystopia’, one of the most outstanding productions that has come our way recently, combines a breakbeat base with contemporary melodic, liquid sound. The cherry on top is the vocal from Lily Und Wolf. 

For the remix, when it comes to quality we do not compromise, so we asked the underground icon, Martin Roth, to rework the tune and we are extremely delighted to have him on our label. With potential to become a club anthem, it’s most definitely a peak time tune that takes you on a hypnotic journey with a multitude of melodies and a groove that will make you dance till the very end.

The next track, ‘Secrets’ is a bit different with an uplifting, joyful, Ibiza vibe and a male vocal by Dcoverz. Finally we have an instrumental track, ‘Ypsilon’, with a true underground sound - just what Truesounds is all about. We hope you enjoy!

Finishing off this incredibly adventurous EP is Lunar Plane's remix of 'Elephants', bringing melody and, with it, narrative, to the tribal party in the plains.

The main feeling you take away from the Elephants EP is one of adventure not usually found in electronic music, of being guided somewhere - somewhere better - by invisible forces. And maybe there's a parallel with the thousands of disadvantaged people who, because of this revolutionary record label, are now experiencing aid, however minor it may be. Stylo and Space Motion, two of our current favorite producers join forces for a massive EP in Be Again / Last Siren.

With a strong vocal theme the track 'Be Again' leads the A side of the EP. An infectious rolling bass line sets the mood for all the atmospheres that surround it, with hypnotic melodies and well defined ambiences putting its listeners in a total state of inner trance.

On the B side of this EP Stylo and Space Motion bring total darkness with 'The Last Siren'. A powerful and groovy bass line brings the cadence while the super elaborate fx and drum work define this track into a one of kind. But the cherry on top of this record is definably the melodies that echo a siren sound as the title of the track suggests, simply genius.

UCHA reemerges in harmony with a squadron of remixers, sending a wave of deepness and darkness through the universe.

Harmoniese is an atmospheric nuclear warhead with layers of darkness and light clashing euphoniously. Antagonistic vocals meet tribal and electronic elements, forming an almost cineastic journey.
Dario Dea emphasizes the yin-yang spirit of the tune even more by embracing a synth-driven retro-esque world. 
Raphael Mader then turns the focus on portraying an uplifting, airy, and introspective view.
Tube & Berger’s spin on Mader’s interpretation leads to the grand finale of the voyage, by introducing Goatchy as the leading voice of this dramatic spectacle of sounds.

"For the 12th release on the label, we have invited two new label debuts: Gil Zambrano & Into the Ether. 

Gil Zambrano, a native of Los Angeles, is known for his aggressive and energetic progressive style featured on labels such as FSOE and Where The Heart Is, taking hints from trance. Into the Ether, a native of England, is known for his soft synth-driven works on Songspire and Freegrant Music. Their single, Never Look Back, combines their identities, exploring strong synths and catchy melodic interludes. The single also features label regular, Gambitt, on vocals.

On remix duty is Mark Tarmonea. Tarmonea is a well-respected producer based in Germany, with releases on labels such as Einmusika, 3000Grad, and his own Eye and Eye and Bull In a China Shop. He is known for his extensive use of the Sub-37, his raspy vocals, and warm melodies. Tarmonea exemplifies his signature sound on the remix, centralizing Gambitt's vocal around sublime Sub-37 stabs and catchy main lead synth melodies."
