لم أدرّب نفسي على شيء كما درّبتها على ألّا تتجنّب الحياة، ولا يوجد ما هو ضِد الحياة أكثر من أن يظلَّ الإنسان عالقًا في تجربة مؤلمة. أن يكرّر ذاته اليائسة كل يوم, يجترُّ ألمه, يغرق في ظلامه، ويغمس قدميه أكثر فأكثر في

قبل أعوام مَرَرَتُ  بتجربة قاسية، استغرقتُ لأتجاوزها بضعة أشهر، وكلفتني أيامًا عديدة من البكاء والأرق والانقباض الصباحي. قبل أيام تعرَّضتُ لنفس الموقف، نفس الصدمة، وخيبة الأمل ذاتها، لكنّها لم تستغرق مني لتجاوزها ما يزيد عن نصف ساعة. أقسم لك, نصفُ ساعة إن لم تكُن أقل! ثم أعددتُ لنفسي شايًا ورحتُ أبحث في قائمتي على نتفلكس عن فيلم للسهرة.
لستُ هنا لأتباهى بدورٍ بطوليّ، لكنَّه الألم المألوف نفسه، عندما تواجهه أكثر من مرّة، تعتاده، فتتعلّم كيف تروّضه. نحن نخاف ما لم نجرّبه، تربكنا
التجربة الجديدة، يضعفنا جِهلُنا بها.
وإنّ أسوأ ما يحدث بعد ذلك، هو أن تصنع منًّا هذه المواقف شخصيّات تجتُّبيَّة، تتجنَّب الانطلاق، تتجنّب التجديد، تتجنَّب التغيير، تتجنّب المواجهة
والتحدِّي، تتجنّب الناس والمواقف والعلاقات.
عندي قناعة بأنَّ الإنسان ابن تجاربه، يشكّل فلسفته الخاصةَ منها, ليس ابن الكتب والدراسات والنظريات. ولأنه ابن تجاربه، فإن التجنّبي صاحب التجارب
الحياتيّة المحدودة سيبقى طفلا هشا في الحياة.
أن يقتصر دوري على حماية نفسي وحراسة حياتي من الأضرار، يعني أنّه لا فرق بيني وبين فزّاعة الطيور. صنعوها من قشّ هش، بثياب بالية، تحاول محاكاة البشر، لكنَّها ليست بشرًا، منتصبة ثابتة في الحقل, لا تجيد إلا التشبُّث كوسيلة للبقاء، لا تتعدَّى حدوده، ولا يتجاوز دورها حمايته، دون أن تمتلك أيّ فكرة عمّا يدور في العالم الواسع خارج ذلك الحقل، ودون أن
تشارك في جريان أحداثه.
اقرأ  هذا النص وانا اتهيّا لعيش تجارب جديدة، ساواجه الالم بقدر ما يصادفني الفرح، هكذا تعاش الحياة، سأحبَط مرَّة وآقاوم مرّات، سأهزم ثم ستكون لي الغلبة، سأسلك طرقًا مختلفة، وأعثر على نفسي في أماكن لم أتعرّف عليها من قبل. سألاقي وجوها جديدة، وأعانق قلوبًا آمنة، وأقبض على ألحب في عيون لا ريبَ فيها. سأتجاوز هذه التجربة وأركض بعيدًا، بعيدًا، دون
