Negative effects of Technology on mental health

For interview the interviewer assignment, I made a podcast interview with AUC student Karim Hassan regarding the challenges that AUC students face during the declaration process. We discussed the difficulties students encounter when deciding on a major, such as lack of guidance, and how this can lead to stress and anxiety. Through our conversation, we highlighted the need for more support and resources for students during the declaration period . Karim also shared his experience with the declaration system at AUC to show how students suffer from this process. During the podcast we provided some solutions such as the need for more academic advisors and resources.  After completing the assignment, I feel more connected to my AUC students and more invested in the issues that affect us all. Finally,  I feel proud to have had the opportunity to share this important conversation with others.

"Declaration stress at AUC"

I created a short episode that was only one page in length. Despite its brevity, the episode was packed with action and suspense, and I utilized sound effects and music to enhance the listening. While the episode was short, it was designed to be a self-contained story that left the listener, eager to hear more. Overall, I found the experience of creating the audio drama to be both challenging and rewarding, and I look forward to exploring this audio  further in the future.

"Conversation between a king and a guard"

In my podcast demo, I choose the topic of mental health and well-being for AUC students. Through interviews with students, and mental health experts, I can find unique challenges that AUC students face when it comes to mental health, such as academic pressure, and social isolation. I provide practical tips and strategies for managing stress and anxiety through the professionals that I will make an interview with them. The podcast aims to encourage open conversations about mental health, and promote a self-care and well-being within the AUC community. Overall, I hope to provide a valuable resource for students to support their mental health during their exams time at AUC.
