To Armin van Buuren, the sound of music has become a natural high, a sanctuary, and the stimulus in life. With each year of his career passing, his role in electronic dance music has become more important. If anything, he inspires music lovers with his weekly radio show. Based on that show, is the annual compilation series, loved and anticipated by fans, music lovers and dance addicts. So here it is, A State of Trance 2014, mixed and compiled by no one less than Armin van Buuren.

2014 is going to be a year to remember for the Dutch DJ and his fans. Within the course of 6 weeks, he’ll celebrate the 650th episode of the A State of Trance radio show with no less than 9 events in cities all across the globe. Broadcast live, these celebrations reach out to millions of listeners. Following up on his latest release ‘Everybody Is In The Place’, which hit the #1 position in the Beatport chart in the first week of its release and has become a fan-favourite during recent I AM HARDWELL shows, Dutch maestro Hardwell is releasing his remix of Armin van Buuren’s ‘Ping Pong’.

Never originally intended for release, Armin’s ‘Ping Pong’ song has grown organically into a life of its own. Spawned from an idea to set a special mind-blowing 3D graphics moment apart during his globally renowned Armin Only show, the ‘Ping Pong’ song has since snatched the attention of fans not just at the show but also across the socials. In a bid to give this fan-favourite something extra Armin has called in a favour from his long-time buddy and fellow countryman, Hardwell.

Delivering all the added progressive house-tinged potency desired, Hardwell’s signature sound simply emanates from the core of Armin’s original to give the track a coating of big room house that will have your sense rebounding from pillar to post.

Given its world premiere during his Ultra Music Festival closing set, which to date has received over 2.5 million views on YouTube, Hardwell’s interaction with the crowd had them clambering for the skies with hands ricocheting from side-to-side before the drop threw the audience into a rapturous wave of energy and unleashing another Hardwell remix hit. Fellow Dutch #1 DJ and longtime Bingo Players supporter, Hardwell unveiled his latest remix for current single, ‘Knock You Out’ on one of the biggest dance podcasts in the world, ‘Hardwell On Air’ . 
 
The track premiered in HOA168 and comes off the five-track Bingo Players EP Knock You Out Remixes available on iTunes June 17th. The EP features additional remixes from Gorgon City, Champion and Flaxo. The Hardwell Remix is available on Beatport exclusively on June 2nd through Hysteria/Positiva Records.
 
Hardwell debuts the song following the video premiere for ‘Knock You Out’ which debuted last week onIdolator.com and is “an incredibly special song, as it was one of the songs Paul and I worked on together before he passed away,” said Bingo Players’ Maarten Hoogstraten. Andrew Rayel has positioned himself to be one of the most influential producers in the trance game. That's a lot of pressure for an ordinary person, but then again, Andrew Rayel is far from ordinary. Achieving more before his 20th birthday than many do in their entire lives, it was about time for the young talent to show what he could really do in an album.

Internationally renowned Armada Music has begun broadcasting a brand new radio program called ‘Armada Night Radio’, showcasing the very best music from the label with weekly guest mixes from the Armada talent roster and some of the world’s biggest DJs. The all-inclusive format will span a broad spectrum of genres, ranging from deep and tech house to trance and progressive, and everything in between. The new concept marks the first Armada-branded radio show to highlight the expansive list of genres now included under the industry-leading record label.

The hour-long radio show was inspired by the long running ‘Armada Night’ event series, which has taken place around the globe in locations such as: Romania, Russia, UAE, Australia, the UK, the USA, China, Switzerland, Malaysia, and in many more of the most influential global hot-spots.

On probably the biggest festival stage in the world, the official poster boys of Tomorrowland, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike stepped up once again to deliver another huge mix on the world famous, eye-popping, jaw-dropping Main Stage - and it's all been recorded right here for your listening pleasure! 

Dimitri and Mike, who have over the past three years built up a huge alliance with the Tomorrowland creators, were one of the highlights of this year's festival with not one, but two headline appearances that also included their Smash The House Arena outfit going up against Chuckie and his Dirty Dutch superstars on the Sunday.
