Now, through Skankandbass Introducing we release a series of free download singles which aims to spread the work of the best unsigned, newcomer artists who deserve more recognition.

A rising star of the bubbling Newcastle scene, Kastro has quickly risen through the ranks with excellent releases on ProgRam, Overview, Biological Beats and Timeless Audio.  With his debut on Skankandbass Introducing he showcases a deeper side of his evolving sound on ‘Desolation’, and has recruited some of d&b’s best vocal talent with Haribo, TomInTheChamber and Slay on ‘Stars Amongst The Shadows’.  Expect big things from Kastro very soon.
