The final edition of our free download series for 2021 welcomes Kenan Savrun for his first appearance. The Turkish artist has compiled an impressive resume since arriving on the progressive scene in 2019. Releases on Droid9, Mango Alley, Movement Recordings and Soundteller Records sit prominently in his discography, while his near two-decade long career as a DJ has seen him share the decks with Alex Niggemann, Artbat, Cid Inc, Nick Warren and Oliver Huntemann. In addition to his official production work, Kenan sometimes revisits his favourite records from the past and works on new interpretations to use in his sets and to share with his elite level contemporaries. Most recently the Ankara resident has turned his attention to iio’s ‘Rapture’, a track which dominated clubland in the early 2000’s. The end result was a triptastic progressive groover that is currently making the rounds with electronic music’s premiere tastemakers. Now as we enter into the holiday season we’re happy to offer the track as an exclusive free download. Enjoy!

Called INSTANT fryhide, it will see one special, much talked about track get an instant release with no promo, premiers or press announcements in advance. There will be no schedule for releases and it will see music put out as fast as possible whenever there is a track that suits the concept. Norwegian duo Ost & Kjex are definitely long-time players on the scene. Hailing from cozy and quiet Oslo, this 'hat-wearing' band has never solely stuck to any of the existing genres of the electronic palette, swaying and ideally balancing between underground electronic music and Indie pop music. Marking the list of the worldwide respected artists co-working for collaborations with Ost & Kjex, which include Diynamic's honcho Solomun, Jamie Jones, HOSH, alongside three masterpiece albums, the tracks of which have been our the most intimate life soundtracks during the 2000s and 2010s, we can't be happier than now to release this gorgeous EP on Eleatics.
The main title 'Kaputt' is a jewel. Tied with it's extended and colorful melodies it brings a very lyric mood, which is only multiplied with the tender, pleasant and distinctive vocals.
Dutch producer Karmon makes the original breathing in his way: creating and adding so much background and barely heard, but working sounds and layers, which do help for this version to sound and to be called a 'hit' one. Brilliant appearance.
Italian duo Moonwalk is harmonizing 'Kaputt' and let the original to be implied with their vision: effective, punching and clearly working one.
'No9' is throwing us to another pole of Ost & Kjex: experimental and contrasted. Crunchy percussions and dark synthesizing sounds leave a solid impact on the sterling package.
So play these loud, feel these frankly, dance crazy with these.
