Al Wird Al Latif - The Prophetic litany compiled by Imam Al Haddad should be recited daily before any litany given by your Shaykh. As with all the litanies of Imam al-Haddad, al-Wird al-Latif is made up of nothing but the ‘prayers’ of the Prophet ﷺ & the formulae that he instructed his community to recite mornings & evenings. It is therefore strictly in conformity with the sunna, & once it is well-rehearsed & becomes regular practice, one can rest assured that he is following the ‘Prophetic’ instructions as to which adhkar he should use to begin and end his day.

Aashiq Al - Rasul - Every Beat

As a blinding light you came to us,
And just as suddenly you went away.
The universe still resonates,
With echoes of "Sall Allah ‘alaih”.

O flash of light, in the flow of time,
O sweet Medinan beloved of mine,
I speak with you in broken words,
With a broken heart, and a broken rhyme.

My life is you, and my love is you,
My connection to The Lord Above is you,
My means to earn His love is you,
My cure from distress and dismay.

As a blinding light you came to us,
And just as suddenly you went away.
The universe still resonates,
With echoes of "Sall Allah ‘alaih”.

More generous there's never been, 
More beautiful was never seen,
I surrender at your doorstep
All my dunya and my deen.

O one who came in The Merciful's sight,
With His words "Let there be light",
Convey my broken-hearted plight,
That a glance of Mercy be cast my way.

As a blinding light you came to us,
And just as suddenly you went away.
The universe still resonates,
With echoes of "Sall Allah ‘alaih”.

No eye has seen such beauty as thine
No dame has borne such a one so fine
You’re created free of flaw
As if by your own design

May The Lord, upon you, send His peace,
Salutations, blessings, that never cease,
And to us a gentle breeze,
That makes us weep our nights away.

SHAMSIDUHA

أيا مريد اللهْ نْعِيدْ لكْ قَول اصغه
إذَا تفْهَمْ قَوْلِيْ بِهِ تَصِلْ للهْ

عَلَيكَ يا مُريْدْ 
بِخَمرةِ التوحِيدْ 
وإن تبغِ المزيدْ 
فالغَيْرُ عنكَ انساه

فاذكُرْ الاسْمَ الأعْظَمْ 
واطوي الكون تغنم
وَخُضْ بحرَ الْقِدَم
فَذَاكَ بحرُ اللهْ

وخُضْ بحرَ الأنوارْ 
والمَعنَى والْأَسْرار
واطوي هذِ الديارْ 
يَبْلُغْ قَلْبكْ مُناه

وَلْتفنَ في المعبُوْدْ
تَذُقْ معنى الشُّهُودْ
إذْ لَيْسَ ذا الوجودْ
إلا مِنْ نورِ الله

المُلكُ والمَلَكُوتْ
كذاكَ الجَبَرُوتْ
فكلّها نُعُوتْ
والذّاتُ مُسمّاهْ

فغِبْ عن الصفاتْ
وافنَ في ذاتِ الذات
هذي تَلوّناتْ
مَصِيرُها للهْ

إليهِ المُنتهَى
ومِنهُ المُبتدَا
والآنَ قد بَدَا
والكَونُ في حُلاهْ

لَهُ الكونُ مِرآةْ
ومظهرُ الصّفاتْ
محمّدْ نورُ الذّات
عليهِ صلى الله

العلاوي يقول
قولاً منهُ مقبول
تَهِمْ بِهِ العُقولْ
تهِمْ في ذاتِ اللهْ
