Episode 7th  is finally here ! 

Cedric Sabras,  known as Monsieur Cedric,  is French but prefers to be called a "world citizen" after living in no less than ten different countries. 

He loves music, any kind of music,  as long as it sounds good. He has been playing house and techno since the early 90,  but also really love to spin any kind of music related to jazz or disco; which means pretty much everything.  He collects records: bossa nova,  funk,  new-wave,  Chicago house,  Detroit techno,  Japanese fusion jazz,  Italian 60s &  70s soundtracks... Whenever he enters a used records shop,  he will dig almost every crate! 

Now in his late thirties,  he started to Dj when there was nothing but vinyls. But ten years ago,  as he was relocating to North America,  he decided to put his records collection in a storage for a while and switched to Cds as It would have been too complicated to ship thousands of records. Later arrived Traktor and the move to digital deejaying came naturally ... But back in 2011,  he relocated to Tokyo and realised wax was not dead and how much he has missed the warm sound of these good old records.  He was considering to ship his records to Japan but the Tsunami forced him to return to Europe and it's in London that Cedric decided to establish himself.  A few month later,  he bought a SL1200, managed to ship his entire collection to UK and started to buy all the records he had missed on vinyl! 

“some DJ's try to get their collection on mp3, so they can play their favorite tracks using Traktor or Serato... I did the complete opposite!!!“. 

A year and a thousand records later,  he thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to launch his own label with the help of his old friends Steve Frisco aka DJ Slave and Greg Erman,  leader of the French band Junesex. "Serie Limitée"  was born,  and its getting stronger month by month. The goal of this label was to release music produced by some old friends and some  new talents,  and it has been a success with the help of people like Joey Kay,  Villanova,  Desos,  Deymare,  Lady Blacktronica,  Shyam...  On the side,  Cedric created a sub label called "Serie Limitée Hors Série" and released a 7" which got sold out in a week...
It has now been two years, and the label has released no less than ten records. 

The French DJ is now based in London and you can often hear him DJ at The Box or in an obscur after-hours, "Beat".

Hey everyone !

This week we are delighted to present another exclusive  1 hour mix from a personal favourite of ours. Music has touched Hakim Murphy in a way that made him fall in love with its rhythms, harmonies, and melodies. So in the natural progression dancing took over his body, but yet Murphy's soul craved for more and that is when playing records surfaced. Ah, then the fascination with the fast dance tracks turned into deep House production through friends and experiences, which them blossomed into a Bachelor’s degree in music composition. Liberal arts training allowed Murphy to take classes and learn about human intellect, nature, and essentially his personal definition of art. Synapsis Records and Machining Dreams record labels are born and are currently releasing music by, for, and from the underground. Then after learning the craft, collaborations were born as Murphy is part of Innerspace Halflife, Pegasus Heat, Resonating, Hardware Hustlerz, Slowmotion, and Dream Scoring.
