The Angels Among Demons

In my childhood, there were many bands that tried to leave their legacy in the music industry. Some of them achieved it, some didn't. But what I am sure, is that there was a special band that did not leave us indifferent to many of us, and today we still admiring with the greatest respect, for what they awakened in us.

Michael Cretu was one of those pioneers who with a great team formed by Sandra Ann Lauer, David Fairstein, Frank Peterson, and sometimes guitarist Jens Gad, gave life to ENIGMA. A magical and inspiring music project, that made us dream with open eyes, due to the sheer beauty of the tracks.

Anyone who knows me well knows what they meant to me. And how my music learning, depended largely on them.

I've never done something similar, but the occasion permitted me, and thanks to the outstanding Gregorian Chants' library from Eduardo Tarilonte "CANTUS", I was able to realize a dream. A tribute to ENIGMA, made with much love and respect, and especially to Michael Cretu because unbeknownst to him, has been like a mentor for me.

Thanks to Eduardo Tarilonte and Éanán Patterson and Joan Fernández, for lending their talents and make this possible.

„SPIRITS ON EARTH“ Is a special Song which shaped out in collaboration with my dear friend Ivan Torrent and features some of the most talented musicians and friends I know. 

The intention of this musical journey is to support a unique and valuable School project, and I have had the great opportunity to accompany its process over the last years.
Kusi Kawsay is an indigenous pilot school located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas in Pisaq, Peru. Run by a traditional community, the intention is to preserve and recover the immense knowledge and traditions of the Andean Quechua culture and to link it to modern society. The UNESCO awarded Kusi Kawsay as a spiritual world heritage site because of its cultural importance and for protecting a living human legacy.

I want to thank to all the great artistic support I have received for this release!!
