'Defiant' is my first single for the year 2022. I wrote this track around a year back but never got down to recording it. This is the final version it. As always, this was recorded, mixed and mastered by me in my room.

My ambition as a young boy was to be an engine driver. That is probably the first profession I ever chose before I was ever introduced to art or music.

This piece is loosely based on the days my dad would take me to watch trains as they passed by.

The thrill of experiencing those rhythmic sounds of the engines running on the tracks at such a high speed is something I will never forget.
