Late in 2020, @mezhdunami and I exchanged some messages here on Soundcloud and spoke about potentially working on something together. Though, as life has a way of speeding along pretty quickly not much progress had been made for the first part of the year - that was until Mezhdunami sent me an email one day with a demo track he had worked out and as soon as I heard it I was immediately inspired by the sounds and melodies and I had a bunch of ideas so I to dropped what I had been working on and started putting together the amalgamation of ideas that a collaboration inherits. From that point on, everything just fell together. It was great working with Mezhdunami on this and we are really happy with the result.

Aurora Path is an instrumental journey carved from the stillness of New Age ambience and the glowing pulse of synthwave nostalgia. The track opens like the first shimmer of dawn on a frozen horizon—soft pads unfolding in slow, drifting waves, as if tracing the quiet breath of an awakening landscape.

Beneath the calm, a subtle retro-futuristic current emerges: warm analog synths gliding in arpeggiated patterns, echoing the neon-lit pulse of distant cities. The two worlds—earthly serenity and cosmic electronica—merge seamlessly, forming a path of light that feels both ancient and futuristic.

As the music progresses, shimmering tones rise like curtains of aurora drifting across the night sky, painting the space with iridescent colors you can almost feel. Gentle percussive textures appear, not to drive the rhythm, but to suggest motion—like footsteps on an unseen road, or the soft ticking of time stretching into the infinite.

The song invites the listener to travel inward: to follow the path of light, to drift through memory and imagination, to wander through places that exist only between the heartbeat and the breath. Aurora Path is not just a track—it’s a quiet pilgrimage through luminous space, a meditative ascent into a world where tranquility and synth-fueled wonder meet in perfect balance.
