We invite a Modern Hypnosis favourite: Firas is a Syrian-Australian DJ, broadcaster and the Music Director at PBS 106.7FM, Naarm’s beloved leading specialist music station. A global music head with a taste for otherworldly rhythm, he’s drawn to the mysticism and warm hypnosis of techno and bass.

For this episode, an intentional musical journey for a different kind of dance floor through immersive selections, Firas pieces together a palette of disquieting bass mutations, drawing from standout artists like Azu Tiwaline, Fatima Al Qadiri, Big Hands, Pianeti Sintetici, Purelink and a deep end drive into drum & bass from Om Unit, Pugilist & Tamen, Guava, Peverelist and more. 

He has performed at multiple Modern Hypnosis events, supporting artists such as Forest Drive West, Konduku, TSVI and Azu Tiwaline. He also recently launched the habitus mix series, featuring Pugilist in its debut episode.
