Epilogue

Today’s #MusicalMinute continues the contemplative feel of the last few days.  However, as always I have tried to insert some ‘grit’ by employing a false bass line which provides a mix of tension and resolution — all is not well, and no thing makes sense.  Musically speaking I seem to be honing in on a niche.  What do you think?

مجله کادانس: نخستین تک‌آهنگ منتشر شده گروه دوباره، حال ‌و هوایی ساده و صمیمانه دارد. قطعه روی روند چند آکورد تکرار شونده گیتار پیش می‌رود و با این حال به یکنواختی نمی‌رسد. صدای محکم و بی‌پیرایه خاطره حکیمی و تاکیدهای درست لحنی روی کلمات، شنونده را با کلیتِ اثر درگیر می‌کند. ترانه احسان گودرزی برای این قطعه با آثار پیشین‌اش در عین وجود شباهت‌هایی مانند چینش کلمات، متفاوت است. برای مثال خبری از فضای خواب‌مانند و مالیخولیایی «دیوانه» یا استفاده از تصاویر تکه‌تکه و شعرِحجم گونه‌ی «اسب و برنو» نیست. «شاعر همیشه با کلت» ترانه‌ای پاپیولارِ استاندارد و با کیفیت است که از کلیشه‌ها دوری می‌کند؛ خطابه‌‌ای از عاشقی به معشوق در توصیف او. ترجیع‌بند کار اما، از «ما» یی حرف می‌زند که این روزها حالش خوب نیست ـ نکته‌ای که انسجام ترانه را به هم نمی‌ریزد ـ و به هیچ عنوان شکلی مصنوعی و شعاری ندارد.
