As a new artist to welcome to the Grey Bar Hotel roster, Michael A makes his debut on the Berlin based label with his track “Phase Colour". Regular appearances by Michael A on Proton Music, Genesis Music and Audio Drive, to name a few, have set his already substantial reputation in the progressive house sphere. 
Like one debut isn't already enough, we also welcome Supacooks to the Grey Bar Hotel family. The Armenian duo is known for their label Kitchen Recordings as well as their top-notch production sound, which we can also rediscover in their Remix of Phase Colour. 
Michael Ritter, label owner of Grey Bar Hotel alongside Felix E, delivers a darker sound, letting stabby synths take over the main melody. Former releases such as “Is it too late / Peak Machine” on Yomo Records have proven that his productions reach recognition even in the top artist sphere. 
Label Owner alongside his production partner Mike Koglin of Yomo Records, MoodFreak, returns to Grey Bar Hotel delivering a re-interpretation of Phase Colour like no other. The MF80s remix - the name already gives it away - takes you on a journey back in time, keeping the core elements of the original mix as a central part. A unique production that sets free nostalgic emotions of summer and provides a perfect closing sound for any set. 
The Original Mix by Michael A and standout remixes by Supacooks, Michael Ritter and Moodfreak make "Phase Colour" a beautiful and diverse release.

PREMIERE: Michael A - Phase Colour (MF80s Remix) [Grey Bar Hotel]

Originally released on Proton Music in late 2020, the "Salvation" EP showcased Petar Dundov's immaculate production skills. Now receiving a release of its own on Particles, remixes of both tracks come courtesy of a trio of US artists.

Quickly forming a formidable partnership after establishing themselves individually as seasoned professionals on the underground dance circuit, Mariner + Domingo have seen a rapid rise to prominence since late 2019. Able to point to a stellar array of releases on such luminary imprints as Balkan Connection, The Purr and Sound Avenue, March 2021's "Azimuth" and May's "Lose Control" showcased a remarkable production talent on Particles. Now returning to remix "Salvation", Mariner + Domingo have created a sumptuous Organic House offering that revels in intricate percussive groove and free-flowing melodic textures. Taking the essence of Dundov's original, new motifs flow effortlessly across the 8-minute piece as gentle piano chords and counterpoint flute phrases are woven together against a rasping analogue bassline that reaches its zenith at the breakdown. A 303 inspired line opens up in the second half with mesmerising effect creating a highly original innovative new interpretation.

An artist with an enviable portfolio of releases to his name, Jayden Klight has seen his music allied to an array of blue-chip imprints since a remix of Paolo Mojo for Glasgow Underground in 2017. Going on to find his music in high demand, original EPs quickly found their way to Nie Wieder Schlafen, Sound Avenue and Pablo Bolivar's Seven Villas. A pair of remixes have highlighted the US producer's talent on Particles after reworkings of Espen in June 2020 and Loveclub, Mariner + Domingo in May 2021. Now returning for a third outing, the Jayden Klight remix of "Nature of Nature" is a delicious breaks-laden affair that lilts easily with its free-flowing melodies and intelligent use of Dundov's components. A subtle and delicate reworking, new motifs emerge alongside the off-beat percussion to create a hypnotic second half with its syncopated motifs and soothing vocal textures. The result is a typically impressive remix that adds a new dimension to the original.

With over 2 years in the making, the debut of Luis Leon on Nie Wieder Schlafen feels like a long overdue salvation. The highly explorative mind of Luis has always fascinated us and while the right moment has taken it's time, his sound was always admired in some shape and form. At last, we were finally able to capture his vision in our framework, which allowed his sound to prosper with our collaborative touch. With incredible patience and careful selection throughout the last years of communication, Luis Leon's debut comes with the name of "My Ears Have Tears".

"Understanding of Re" is the ambient opening of Luis' debut EP, which lays focus on textures and subtle modulations of sounds, to give an insight of the release, while easing in the listener. From reversed melodics and breathing basslines to soundscapes and white noises - a meditative introduction to this dancefloor release.

Luis Leon - Understanding Of Re

Continuing a strong fall season, Clubsonica Records welcomes Matan Caspi back to the label for a new single. Highly regarded by his fans and contemporaries, the Tel Aviv resident is considered one of the most refreshing electronic music talents to come out of Israel. Having the distinction as one of the most Top 10 charted artists in Beatport's Progressive House section, Matan has showcased his music via a plethora of major labels, most notably Anjunabeats, Armada, Spinnin and Universal Music. March of 2018 marked Matan's Clubsonica debut with the well-received Crosswinds', before going on to contribute a track to the label's Miami Music Week' sampler a few short weeks later. Following projects for his Outta Limits imprint, Matan now returns to Clubsonica with a new single entitled Serengeti', alongside remixes from Dmitry Molosh and Juan Pablo Torrez and Dabeat.

Continuing what has been a fruitful year, Matan steps forward with Serengeti' which showcases his originality and sophistication as an artist. Anchored by a warm, muscular groove and smooth rhythmic pulses, the energy is striking from the outset. Cross cultural vocal phrasing steals the air as the first act evolves, elegantly moving through a forest of exotic drums and sweeping effects. Carrying into the main break, guitar slides add further musicality, marrying beautifully with fragmented vocals as waves of effects and drums unite for an exhilarating crescendo and suitably large finale.

Returning to the label and providing the first interpretation of Serengeti' is Dmitry Molosh. Widely regarded as a top tier talent in the progressive music scene, Dmitry's long-standing relationship with Clubsonica dates back to 2016 with a contribution to the label's ADE' sampler. The Belarusian artist would then go on to deliver two singles and a remix over the next four years. Now a veteran of the progressive house underground, Dmitry continues to showcase his music on the genre's premiere imprints, such as Cid Inc's Replug Records and Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music. Continuing what has been a prolific year, Dmitry now returns to Clubsonica with a spellbinding rendition of Serengeti'. A perfect balance of warmth and drive provides the foundation for fluid rhythms, buoyant arps and flickering percussion to work their magic. Sleeker and more hypnotic than the original, its peak time sensibility resonates across the first act, as icy pads provide a bridge into the main break, relieving tension for moments of tonal warmth, as a steady build sparks goosebump worthy moments, onwards to a thumping finale.

The release concludes with Clubsonica label boss Juan Pablo Torrez and occasional studio partner Dabeat providing the second and final interpretation of Serengeti'. Operating from the heart of Colombia's electronic music scene, this talented duo has collaborated in the past with exceptional results. A combined discography reveals a host of highly regarded landing spots, with Nick Warren's The Soundgarden, Beatfreak, Perspectives Digital and Proton Music being the most notable. Beloved as their country's foremost progressive music talents, Juan and Dabeat now unite once again for a special collaborative remix of Serengeti'. Warm and shapely, an undulating groove sits at the root of the track, providing the perfect backbone for reprocessed vocals and organic drums to delicately dance above. The Mediterranean moods from the original delight across the first act, bringing newfound musicality as wispy effects raise tension leading into the main break. Looking to bring greater emotional depth, the centrepiece proves impactful with fragmented arps, buzzing bass swells and poignant chord changes banding together for a spirited crescendo and glowing final movement. An inspired remix from Juan Pablo Torrez and Dabeat once again, capping off a welcome return to Clubsonica Records for Matan Caspi.

The latest release from Tash's Movement Limited welcomes Haen and Mango to the label for their debut single. The former, is an alias of Indian electronic artist and DJ, Sachin Menon. Created with the intent of exploring electronic music by fusing warm tones and atmospheres with experimental elements and sounds inspired from a broad spectrum of musical genres. Haen's unique vision has landed him releases via Mango Alley, Songspire and Traum. Meanwhile, Russian artist Alexey Golovanov aka Mango has been a fixture of the electronic music underground for the better part of two decades. Whether it be through his releases courtesy of Anjunadeep and Proton Music or his thirteen-year run as the director of Mango Alley, Mango has firmly etched his place in the history of progressive music. Now presenting their first collaborative project, Haen and Mango unite for their Movement Limited debut 'Mos Eisley'.

Emotionally compelling throughout, the release begins with the warm beats and rolling rhythms of the Original Mix. A forest of neatly manicured percussion sets the course for breathy overlays and striking stabs to work their magic. Expanding the creation's musicality is a wave of soulful instrumentation, coming to fruition during the first of two breaks and smoothly segueing into a section of indistinct vocals, buoyant drums and low-slung bass swells. Looking to pull one final wave of emotion the second interlude revisits the main theme, allowing for a serene moment as the beats drop for a dummy finale.

The release concludes with a second version delivered in fine style by Haen. Once again drawing from his eclectic vision, the Indian artist radically reshapes the track with a lazier, more laid-back narrative that cements this supreme slo-mo journey. Tantalizing arps blanket a series of bulbous stabs and clattering percussion while the main theme resonates it's soulful, romantic qualities across a heartfelt finale. A gorgeous remix from Haen which rounds out an excellent Movement Limited debut for himself and Mango. Highly recommended.

Our third release is something rather special, we welcome our good talented Norwegian/Turkish friend "Wolfson" to the label; owner of the magnificent WOLD records, who has been actively releasing some awesome music from labels like ZEHN, Eleatics, Somatic, Kittball, and Dear Deer and constantly being seen on the Top 100 charts and been having global support all around. 

Opening the Ep with the “Original Mix”; a sweet breakbeat groove with a lush vocal with a catchy melodic and a driving riff. Then comes the "Erdi Irmak Remix”; a very talented Turkish producer who made a big name for himself with many stellar releases from labels such as Sudbeat, Tale, and Tone, When We Dip, and many more with Top 100 charts and global support, keeping the original flavor with his signature deep/organic sound and a solid groove. 
Finishing the EP with our founder "Gadi Mitrani Remix" A robust progressive groove with an infectious melody ride keeping the flow with organic afro beats.

Chihaka, one of our favorites, offers perfect depths and eclectic melodies that permeate the original tones of Extravaganza, while the about: river duo, which debuts on RYNTH, with their live reinterpretation, using a mix of analog and digital equipment, achieves the results we expected!

John Cosani, electronic music DJ and producer, was born in 1988 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. From an early age, his interest in music became evident, getting even stronger with time. At the age of 12 he began his musical studies with piano lessons and later on, when he discovered house music, he fell in love with its eclectic and enveloping sound. At 16 years old, he began playing in small parties, setting a start point for his passion and his imminent career as a DJ.

inctive deep and powerful sound that has gone on to see him feature on the likes of Clinique, Particles and Proton Music, the UK star admits, “I love making electronic music”.

A pair of remixes for GMJ & Matter’s “Lost on Origin” represented a Meanwhile debut in April 2020, while February 2021’s “Push Thru / Horizonz” was another notable highlight, showcasing Khan’s craftsmanship with an original EP debut. Now returning with a second offering, the three-track “Equinox” is another masterful addition to the Meanwhile catalogue.

Opening proceedings, the title track glitters in a velvety night sky where pinpricks of melodic light illuminate a cavernous bassline. White-noise pans in gentle waves across the stereo spectrum as thickly stratified pads join forces in synthesised union. A true force of nature erupts in symmetrical brilliance where “Equinox” delivers a timeless masterpiece.

Full of groove-inspired character, “Generator” builds a new powerline. Heavy bass sequences spawn a heady concoction of low-end energy that revolves in perpetual cycles. Rhythmic dynamism develops in hypnotic patterns as subtle synth motifs are charged by rib-cracking kick and syncopated vitality.

Rhythmic intricacy and poise form “In My Head” where popping percussion delivers a vibrant framework that fizzes with brio and intensity. Pulsating waves of sound vibrate in aural synchronicity around ethereal vocal touches, and gentle melodic juxtaposition revolves around a heady mixture of exquisite suspense that represents a new conduit for machine-generated sounds.

Through beautiful sonic symmetry where rhythm and melody are balanced with immaculate precision, a new “Equinox” emerges from the brilliant mind of Imran Khan.
