Welcome back to our podcast series!

We are delighted to have this amazing greek producer @plecta86 as our narrator for the 92nd episode.

Plecta was born in 1986 and he lives in Athens. He has been involved with music since his childhood. At the young age of ten, he began his education in music with the guitar, but his passion slowly began to steer towards electronic music and the desire to compose such music.He is influenced by a huge range of sound colours throughout the electronic music scene. Over the years, his music creations increased even more. Doing composing, he realised Deep House music as organic , dreamy, melodic sounds were his spirit of energy and passion became the “signature” of Plecta’s musical compositions. His passion continues to drive him and be the main force behind his music. At the past, he has made several releases to other types of electronic music such as Techno, Minimal and more. However, the Deep House music is the one that eventually drew his attention. Inspired by new music ideas, his journey begins, giving a natural and electronic sound at his music creations and pushing his limits a step further.

Splendour In The Grass ~ The Forest

Last year was the first time I DJ’ed at Garbicz. I instantly fell in love with the place, the people, the forest, the magnificent vibe. What a festival! You can imagine how thrilled I was to play there again this year – on my favorite floor of the festival, with a beautiful time slot.  

On Saturday morning at 8AM, I opened Buk Corner’s infamous cocktail bar. You could see the sun rise over the lake. Soon enough, people came pouring in from all corners of the festival. It was heartwarming to see many of my Dutch and German friends supporting me from the start. Some had partied all night, others had set their alarm clock to hear my set. Ain’t that dedication? 

As a DJ, I like to take people through different sounds and styles. Thanks to the open-mindedness and party-mindedness of Garbicz’s seasoned ravers, I was able to take the dance floor along on this journey. I hope the vibe of this most magical morning is captured in the recording. Enjoy.

Moja is a multi-genre DJ known for weaving cultures, decades and tempos into dancefloor journeys built for transformation. With roots in a travelling musical family in London, his early diet of reggae, hip hop and house laid the foundation for a style that’s both global and timeless.

Over the last 15 years he has played internationally across the transformational festival and Burning Man circuit, appearing at gatherings such as Burning Man, Boom, Ozora, Boomtown and Rainbow Serpent, alongside countless club events. His sets move fluidly between melodic techno, afro-house, tech house, progressive, psy-trance, drum & bass and eclectic left-field textures, always guided by a instinct for narrative and emotional lift.
