This is the first annual Gremlin Fest and we are proud to host it here in New Orleans, LA, where all of our local Gremlin Radio Resident DJs will be joined by many of our fellow Residents from Florida (where Gremlin Radio has a HUGE presence), Missouri, Arkansas, and other nearby states to be a part of an awesome weekend long event headlined by DJ Brad Smith (aka Mr. Smith) on Friday night, and DJ Sharaz (aka Dr. Evil) on Saturday night!

Special Mardi Gras cups with the Gremlin Radio logo and the headliners' names will be used to serve drinks in at the bar, Gremlin Fest 2013 glow in the dark silicone armbands and Gremlin Fest 2013 Glow Sticks will be available in various colors.  

This mix is posted as a FREE download and includes several well known tracks by both Brad Smith and Sharaz to get you ready for some of what's in store at this event. MOJO spent several years in the club scene in the mid 90's through the early millennium meeting many DJs whom he remains friends with. MOJO has spun at several bars and clubs in New Orleans, including: The Wherehouse, Jiggers, Shakers, and Southshore Tavern, as well as several house parties with crowds as small as 40 people and as large as 100+ people. 

MOJO also co-hosted (with NuOrleanz Phatz) Gremlin Radio's first annual Gremlin Fest in New Orleans, LA the weekend of July 12th & 13th, 2013. The lineup for that weekend long party included 20+ DJs with DJ Brad Smith (a/k/a Mr. Smith) headlining Friday night and DJ Sharaz (a/k/a Dr. Evil) headlining Saturday night. 

Gremlin Fest 2013 was an integral part of a milestone in the breakbeat community: DJ Brad Smith’s headline set on Friday night was supposed to be his final old school breaks set; the crowd turnout (and more importantly, the crowd response) was so electric, however, that Brad played an entire hour past his scheduled set and promised to return and play again in New Orleans! He later announced on fb that after careful consideration and meditation, he had decided to stay in the breakbeat game forever! 

MOJO is a long time member of the Gremlin Radio family where he was a resident DJ for years, and hosted "The Dope Show" (a weekly live broadcast of breakbeats, breakbeats, and . . . breakbeats).
