A man who lives 250ft up a hill overlooking a Devon resort is furious after insurers refused to cover his house because of a risk of flooding.
Eric Brisley, 85, was refused an insurance quote for his house in Sandhills Road in Salcombe.
Mr Brisley, who is fighting his case with Lloyds, says it would be "impossible" for his home to flood.
Lloyds said all properties in his postcode had been designated a flood risk.

Builders have been given only £1m of a £525m fund to kick-start construction of houses in England, it has emerged.
The government's Builders Finance Fund (BFF), launched in April 2014, aimed to "unlock" hundreds of housing projects stalled by the economic slowdown.
But just two projects have so far benefited from the fund which ends in March 2017.

We're super happy to announce our 13th release by Sharhabil Ahmed, the actual King of Sudanese Jazz (he won that title in a competition in the early 1970s). Sonically it sounds very different from what Jazz is understood to sound like outside of Sudan. It’s an incredible unique mix of rock’n’roll, funk, surf, traditional sudanese music and influences from Congolese sounds. Original copies of Sharhabil recordings are often hard to find, so we’re happy they will now be widely available, including a booklet with liner notes, interviews and unseen photos from Sharhabil’s personal archive. The release is licensed from Sharhabil himself and he receives 50% of the profits of the sales.

<2019 UPDATE> 
Six years ago, i released this bootleg right before i embarked on the Mongol Rally, a 37-day long journey from London to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The fact that this song is still relevant in 2019 is more than I ever could've hoped for, and for those still listening to this today I'd like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart, and that your support means the world to me. 

As for me, 2018 was a momentous year for me for I have come out of a long hiatus from releasing music. I released an EP under @horizonterminal with a buddy @lam_chop and also have been doing steady releases on my Spotify and Instagram channels.
