Mojo - Black are an entertaining mix of rock, metal grunge and pop punk. Based in both Lancaster and Shropshire areas. Anthony Laycy - Drums vocals and guitar. Ben calder - Rhythm guitar, Emma Deyn - Bass guitar. Playing in 2015 at festivals, pubs, organised events, and if you ask nicely....private parties.
Influences are varied but a good idea of where we are coming from is : Soundgarden, QOTSA, Tool, Stranglers, Slip knot, korn etc etc.
Mojo Black currently use a mini disc with live drum recordings, when playing live. The drums are recorded by the Vocalist Anthony Laycy. who was originally a drummer before he felt the urge to step up to the front of the stage. fingers crossed for a live drummer in the future, but for now the lack of one does not affect their awesome sound or their energy when playing live!
