My 3rd single, Let Go, is a classic-sounding piano house track - similar to the vibes of Joel Corry and Sigala. I can tell you all this nonsense about how Let Go is a track which is about “letting go to the feelings of an unfaithful partner”, but it’s not - at least not for me. I didn’t write the lyrics. I certainly did not sing the lyrics. It’s just a sample from Splice (according to curators on submithub, one which is quite overused).

SIDE NOTE: If you’re curious about my overuse of sampled vocals, don’t fret! I have now secured a few collaborations with some amazing vocalists. 

No! Let Go is intended to be a Piano House banger. That is the be all and end all. It is to be enjoyed. It is to be danced to. It is to be belted out of your lungs when you’re 751.2ml of Smirnoff down at 10:32pm just about to leave the pre-drinks for your arduous journey on public transport to your favourite club. It is about good vibes and good times.

MOK_Z is a House, Garage and Breaks rave-revivalist. MOK_Z has pricked many-a-ear in a short space of time with his refreshing compositional style.

Music that brings people together: that is the goal. The western world has never been more so divided than it is now. Clubs are in turmoil, politics divides not only opinion, but the families and friendships which hold them - everybody. The old-school sounds of the late 80s and early 90s raves are making a comeback, underpinned by the current socioeconomic circumstances people feel themselves struggling through. These sounds and styles, like they did then, can provide relief, express rage as well as provide connections and love NOW!

Currently, MOK_Z is releasing 1rave-ready track per week for the first 26 weeks of 2022, on all platforms. In doing so, he is filming the process of creating these tracks, uploading them onto Youtube for people to enjoy. In the process, he is securing further BBC radio play and joining more people together in unity​
