German electronic producer Fejká unveils his long-awaited comeback with 'Maara' on 15th November, marking the inaugural release of his brand new label imprint, 'Coexist'. Formerly known through Christian Löffler’s Ki Records, his melodic & atmospheric signature style embarks on a new journey, blending deep house, ambient techno, and organic elements into a uniquely ethereal sound. A stunning live-performance video accompanies the release to mark the beginning of a bigger new chapter, featuring the audiovisual polymath performing the song live on a cliff of Gran Canaria with all his instruments, showcasing his artistry in a breathtaking setting.

‘Maara’ encapsulates the essence of the nascent Coexist imprint, a label Fejká defines by the infinite duality within his music: serene and contemplative by day, yet pulsating with vigor and dynamism come nightfall. Within ‘Maara,’ a hypnotic plucked melody intertwines with a driving bassline, while ethereal piano layers and fragmented vocal chops gradually infuse vitality into its rhythmic foundation. The composition's essence blossoms within the break section, where celestial strings blend delicate beauty with unabashed, potent energy—a rare and remarkable occurrence on the dancefloor.

‘Maara’ was born after the triumph of his second studio album Hiræth when Fejká decided to pause his rigorous touring schedule. Escaping the harsh German winter, he sought solace on the serene Pacific island of Gran Canaria, where he immersed himself in introspection and creativity. Surrounded by breathtaking natural landscapes, ‘Maara’ offers a taste of the ethereal melodies he cultivated from the island's pristine environment, setting the beginning of a new chapter.

Die Handlung des Films trug auch maßgeblich zur Namensgebung bei“, so das Gespann @mokabi. Entstanden sind beide Tracks in ihren Studios in Stuttgart und Köln: „In unseren Produktionen verwenden wir digitale und analoge Hardware und auch Software-Synthesizer. Wir verwenden die gleiche Software, sodass wir die Projekte über eine Cloud simultan bearbeiten können.“ (...)

Release Info: 
Lucas Tesoin and Thomas Maschitzke know each other for a long time since both are part of the Suspekt roster and were working together from now and then in the past. With the ‘Affront EP’, the Berlin-based DJs and producers teamed up for a more intense collaboration. The sound of the EP gets under one’s skin with its energetic and powerful tunes but is also deep and ethereal at the same time. A record truly made for every floor, club or crowd that admires straight, resolute and soulfully crafted techno.
 
The most groovy track of the ‘Affront’ EP is probably the remix of ‘Insecure’ by Boy Next Door and Pascale Voltaire. A rhythmic bass line slowly gets supported by a snapping clap giving room to the cheerful melody. The second break steadily builds up the increasing tension until breaking down almost completely a few seconds before the powerful drop. The reinterpretation is in no way inferior to the original, leaving nothing behind but a packed dance floor.

A floaty retro-super-future throwback, ‘Far From Home’ takes you deep without a hint of darkness.  Melodic, synth-heavy grooves remind you that home is where the deep-house music is.

‘Particles’ is the emotive yet relaxed fusion of pølaroit and HRRSN. Sublime soundscapes drop into moody broken drumbeats, with HRRSN’s otherworldly vocals lifting this track into the surreal.

Bass-heavy, uplifting percussive driven 'Vergebens' is certainly not produced 'in vain'. Driving synths melt into HRRSN’s idiosyncratic lyrics, with off-kilter snares taking this track from the dreamscape to the dancefloor.

Spacey and emotive: ‘Tribute’ moves slowly, with minimal percussion and atmospheric breakdowns. This collaborative track is a steady, rhythmic journey, carried gently forwards by HRRSN’s mystical vocal musings.

‘Particles’ sees some of Stil vor Talent’s freshest producers collaborate to produce this eclectic and otherworldly EP. A must-listen for those seeking a slightly more down-tempo vibe laced with stirring lyrics.
