This track was recorded in 2006 as part of an EP project for a production crew i started called The Maniac Metalloids consisting of 3 producers, Bromine, Selenium and myself.
The Maniac Metalloid project was a very experimental one, which allowed me to try different approaches as well as sample different sounds.
As a group of producers who were all still learning individually it gave us a chance to do alot of exploring in terms of production. This was no different when it came to the MC's we would work with, we enjoyed the slightly obscure, raw rap shit that makes you nerd out when you hear it.
At the time i was working with KonFab as part of Writers Block and always identified him as an MC that would fit the vibe of the Metalloids perfectly.
Once we gave him the beat he let me know that he is going to feature Hymphatic Thabs on the track, which made us bug out especially after hearing his Error Era album back then, we really respected his work.
The recording process went fairly smoothly with KonFab's scripts already prepared & Hymphatic Thabs scripting his verse in the lab. Needless to say the 2 Lesotho born artists worked together nicely on the track and was quite a big deal for us to get these 2 particular MC's on the together.
