I usually write or comment something on my songs.

When I published this melody I did not. I sit and I felt like the title...guilty, and I didn't feel like doing it.

About two months ago I had an accident with my car. Yes, the one I use as a work tool and to make my music. The car is not important, it is people's lives.

I've been hundreds of thousands of kilometers and it had never happened to me. The sunlight dazzled me, or maybe my polarized glasses...I don't know...but I could only see the car at the last moment.

Fortunately there were no personal injuries, but I was the cause of the accident, albeit unintentionally. I thought about the people who were traveling in the other vehicle and the person who accompanied me. I still feel that although I no longer hear the noise of the blow that followed me for weeks and disturbed my scant sleep or see my airbag burns

I am not writing this for myself, I am doing it to ask you to be as careful as possible when driving a car. It doesn't matter to be late, it matters to arrive. Rest and stop if you need to. If you don't, you may regret it for the rest of your life.

Guilty

This is a song that began as a bass line I came up with on my four string fretless over a looper. I shared it with Ken (K2 and the Three [and Four], Stephen (Tex Mex Shaman), and Tez (Llanpsych) through BandLan, which we're all on. Ken came up with some perfect drums, as always, to prop up the whole thing. Tez added some killer guitar solos, which you can hear more towards the end, with the ripping tone. Stephen then came in and added the talk box guitar and wah guitar that you hear playing the hook more towards the beginning. It's my first song ever featuring a talk box, and I'm amazed with the part he came up with. It's a major line against my minor bass line. I love how it sounds! Stephen also was kind enough to mix the beast for us, which turned out to be a herculean task. But he was up to it, and a fine job he did, too. It was an honor and a pleasure to work with these guys. We all hope you enjoy it as much as we did making it.

This one came together fast!  Terry had this cool idea he sent over saying it was in D# minor pentatonic, so I was already excited when reading that as the minor pentatonic is where lots of guitarists cut their teeth.  
About a day and 1/2 later and it was done.  Sorta fell out of the sky-  so thanks to Terry and to the infinite cosmic fountain for this one!  It's the latest in the Texas Tea collabs and it's called 'True Story'

CONFEST: This song actually tune is a reflection of memories that I still have from the down to earth movement in Northern Victoria Australia, from a festival called Contest, for some reason I still remember my first days to Confest the old guy on the gate collecting money as we pulled up in the car with that huge slonger ( dick) hanging in your face. We as a small community group amongst 1000,s of others,  would camp along the river in the hot Australian sun some days 50C or about 122f crying out for a small wind to blow from the river all the time listening to that constant drumming  soothing destressing drumming which never stop throughout the festival, at night when the cool change would come that drumming would provide the back drop for a most peaceful sleep being rocked to sleep with the Confest drums, only to be woken by the crows and kookaburras dancing to the drums in the morning
