Berlin-based Mona Moore has been a passionate lover of electronic music since the year 2000. Sooner or later, she just had to venture behind the decks. She had her debut in what she now calls "her living room" - the iconic Berlin club, KaterBlau. Since then, she has performed innumerable times both within and outside of the capital. 

Over the last year or so, Moore has entered the production side of things with original releases on Katz&Kauz and Rebellion der Traumer. Mona describes her music as describes a deep, groovy and melodic techno / deep house. Her philosophy when she is playing: "Sharing the love of music and thereby forgetting a few hours of space and time"

We have been following Mona Moore for a couple of years now, and love her unique take on melodic techno. We are super grateful for this exclusive mix, Institution 069: Mona Moore

What a pleasure to have @stanstarry as part of our DEEP TALES label family 🖤

Stan's sound can best be described as "techno with heart and soul". Away from short-lived trends, he likes to play with persevering sets under the skin of his audience, creating those magical moments on the floor that make club nights or festivals special.

Whether as a resident of Der Strand 22 in Jena, or as an artist in the Berlin clubs KaterBlau, the Betriebsfeier on the MS Hoppetosse, the Sisyphos or the Sonne Mond und Sterne Festival, Stan is always happy behind the decks.

His track in collaboration with @fabian-vieregge, "Research", is a proper dance floor bomb and will be out soon as part of our COMPILATION THREE - stay tuned 🔥

We welcome Berlin-based Mona Moore for the 109th edition of the 'Deep in Mix' series.

A devoted architect of sound, Mona Moore’s journey into electronic music spans over two decades, evolving from an impassioned listener to a revered artist shaping the melodic techno and deep underground electronic scene. Her story is one of patience, passion, and an unwavering love for the art form—a love that ultimately led her behind the decks. Her debut unfolded in what she fondly calls her 'living room', Berlin’s iconic 'Kater', where she remains a driving presence as a resident DJ. Beyond the city’s borders, Mona’s sound has reached dance floors far and wide, where her sets flow effortlessly between deep, propulsive rhythms and ethereal harmonies, drawing listeners into a realm where time feels suspended.

Her contributions extend beyond DJing. As the curator of the Proton mix series ‘Out of Space and Time’ and the mind behind the event series ‘Enorm in Form,’ she has cultivated a distinct musical identity that embraces both the ethereal and the immersive. The pandemic saw her creative expression take a new form—stepping into music production, she debuted in 2021 with a collaborative release alongside Stan Starry, followed by standout productions on esteemed labels such as Rebellion der Träumer and Grey Bar Hotel. Her music is a reflection of her passion, shaping transient yet unforgettable moments on the dancefloor.

Mona Moore’s sets are more than performances—they are invitations into a world where music eclipses reality. Her ability to intertwine groove, melody, and emotion has cemented her place in the modern electronic music scene. Die musikalischen Kaffeefahrten führen uns in Räume verträumter Flächen, grooviger Beats und dreckiger Baselines. 

Das Produzieren rückt nun immer mehr in den Fokus, wobei das Auflegen immer seine größte Leidenschaft bleiben wird. 

Seit Herbst 2015 lebt & gestaltet Moksha Lane auf der thailändischen Insel Koh Phangan, einem Hotspot der elektronischen Musikszene und war Resident in der legendären GUYS BAR.

Mitte 2019 dann die Rückkehr nach Deutschland <<<

The musical „Kaffeefahrt“ leads us in rooms of dreamy plains, groovy beats and dirty baselines.

Producing and studio work is lately coming more into focus although DJ-ing always remains his greatest passion. Since late summer 2015 Moksha Lane is living & sound shaping on the tropical Island Koh Phangan in Thailand, one of the main hotspots world wide when it comes to electronic music & made it to become resident in the ledendary GUYS BAR. After 4 years East Asia Moksha Lane is fully back in Germany <<<
