This piece was inspired by the operas of classical composers of the past century:
the avantgardists Stockhausen and Ligeti, the Minimalists, Riley, Reich, etc..
But also by the European Space Rock. There the so called "trance effect" is a consequence
of attributing major significance to small musical variations, rather than a goal in itself.

Dystopia - a dark realm, yet the native habitat of the square bunnies. Discretization does not decrease their bunny nature - it only accentuates it. Featuring a variety of synthesized sounds, including a smooth lead, a square bass, and scampering bunny steps.

Processed in REAPER using two instances of ReaVerb.
Might be best enjoyed with a subwoofer, so you can hear the 32' Subcontrabass stop.

Waverazor was very challenging, I spent the first half of the month learning the synth and most of the second half making sounds. I ended up rushing at the end, I hope the mix is ok!
