Kerri Chandler’s MadTech Record is back with a new compilation this September, entitled ‘MadTech 03’ and comprising fourteen original tracks from many leading names in contemporary house music.

It’s been yet another fantastic year for MadTech with releases from the likes of Cera Alba, Artifact and Kalyde, picking up support along the way from the likes of Maya Jane Coles, Huxley, Dubspeeka and BBC Radio 1’s Monki. Here the label returns with yet another hard hitting various artists package, with the likes of PMR’s No Artificial Colours, Bontan, Circus’s Yousef and Leftwing & Kody all delivering brand new exclusive material for the comp.
In true MadTech fashion the ‘03’ compilation offers up an array or raw, dance floor focused house cut ranging from the hypnotic and infectious grooves of Rockaforte’s ‘Hyper Muzik’ and Lupe Fuentes & Javi Lopez’ ‘To Perfection’, through to more direct house workouts from Max Chapman, No Artificial Colours, Bontan and Rich Wakley.

Montel takes things into old school realms with the organ drenched ‘Horizons’, SEFF and Kashii bring a bassy edge to things with skippy and pitched vocal chops, while Demarzo and Fabricio Pecanha tip the focus into darker realms with a more progressive, electronic focus. All in all MadTech once again deliver fourteen essentials tracks for the current climate of modern electronic music.

035 sees the long awaited return of rapidly rising Apollo 84! This EP has been some time in the making but finally we unleash Last Nights Acid!

2 original tracks from Twisted Fusions main man. Last Nights Acid plays on the title with distorted vocals about last nights party and acid trip which layer perfectly on drunken atmospheric vibes throughout the breakdown before grooving out with all Apollo' signature elements. Can't Stop is more a straight forward, no nonsense tipple, driving bassline, big beats - real Criminal Hype tackle!

On the topic of long awaited returns, we found the perfect opportunity here for Cal Johnstone to follow up last summers monster 'Dooper'. Cal has put his twist on Last Nights Acid taking the track into even more literal terms with a wicked acid groovin bassline that just goes off! Ask Jey Kurmis (Hot Creations), he's been playing this remix exclusively since BPM festival and it still does the track for him!

Remixing Can't Stop, we welcome House Soldiers! With some really solid sounds coming form their camp lately we were very keen to get the lads on board. The guys have slapped the original with even bigger, even chunkier bass. These guys are being tipped left right and centre and it's pretty easy to see why here!

As Warriors celebrates its fifth season at Sankeys Ibiza, residents Mark Jenkyns and Leftwing & Kody mix a double album composed of entirely exclusive tracks.

Returning to Sundays at the Playa D’en Bossa club, the party series recently announced their summer lineups spanning the likes of Groove Armada, Hot Since 82, Eats Everything, Skream, Huxley and VIVa founder Steve Lawler. Throughout the 2016 season residents Mark Jenkyns and Leftwing & Kody will be regular fixtures at the events, which is why VIVa have tapped them up to craft two mixes exemplary of Warriors’ distinct musical aesthetic.

Turning heads ever since his debut on Hot Creations four years ago, Mark Jenkyns has since followed up with appearances on Rinse, Dogmatik, Leftroom, Resonance and Crosstown Rebels, not to mention collaborating with Inxec as 12 Stories with a release on VIVa MUSiC last year. Meanwhile, Leftwing & Kody have been making waves since emerging in 2012, releasing on the likes of Knee Deep In Sound, Hot Creations and MadTech when not pioneering their own Lost Records imprint.

Jenkyns’ mix initiates with a percussive production from Leftroom founder Matt Tolfrey before erupting into lively material from names such as Resonance Records founder Max Chapman, Kreature and Tom Budden until a crunchy cut from Josh Butler concludes proceedings. Meanwhile, Leftwing & Kody’s tracklist sees the likes of Jey Kurmis, Solid Grooves founder Michael Bibi, Hauswerks & Anek, Cera Alba and ONNO, not to mention fast-rising newcomers Solardo.
