Summer is by far the best time for music, it can make a track you've listened to a million times sounds like its fresh and new again.. just by listening to it, in the sun. This mix for Mokumo is on the slow Balearic tip then moves up into more of an italo direction after the intermission, before finishing with couple of my all time favourite love jams. We were very lucky with 2020 Soundsystem: 10 years of touring the globe, playing fantastic gigs at clubs, parties and festivals and meeting and working with some wonderful people. This is a previously unreleased, promo only  'live album' that we recorded in the summer of 2012 in the middle of our last bout of touring. It had always frustrated me that we had never quite caught the real energy and sound of the band playing live on any of our releases, so when the opportunity arose to record a session in Loudhailer Studios here in Manchester, we jumped at it. We spent one day setting up and getting a 'sound' that we were comfortable with and had a play through, then recorded this the next day. It's basically a one take run through of our live set at that time which includes tunes that we wrote as a band and also originals and remixes that we had previously released under our solo project names. For me it's the most satisfying recording we ever made. Please enjoy and spread the LOVE! It goes out to everybody who supported us throughout and continues to support us in our other projects. It really does mean a lot.

For Daniel Leseman & Junktion (Hans Peeman), successful producers on their own merits and friends since childhood, a collaboration was inevitable. The success of it of course never is, but their house sound infused with disco and a lot funk has been proven to be very infectious.

After the infamous Detroit Swindle signed them to their Heist imprint and released the booming Kill Frenzy EP their name was established firmly to quick growing broader audience. Resulting in request for Dj-sets across Europe & the America’s, with personals highlights on Glastonbury, LoveBox and Output New York.

Their first vinyl release as Fouk, on their own created Outplay Records was met with great enthusiasm, the brilliant reactions to ‘Stuff Your Dad Liked’ and ‘Cat Lady’ propelled Fouk and Outplay firmly into the scene as the ‘one to watch’. Following swiftly on, they produced a formidable remix for Lay-Far on the Swedish Local Talk Records. Following Doza’s EPIC theme “The Nautilus” comes the warm and uplifting single-tracker "Andy, Wally & Ray". 
As where "The Nautilus" was an exercise in self-limitation, using only sounds from one keyboard, "Andy, Wally & Ray" brings three key instruments together again: the Alesis Andromeda A6, Waldorf Microwave XT, and Ray Kurtzweil’s stalwart PC2x (hence the title). Here, Doza illustrates the concept of electronic instruments as friends, complete with personalities and their own voices to be discovered and celebrated. With crecendos a plenty, "Andy, Wally & Ray" walks listeners through choral peaks and valleys with layers of blissful electronic nuances perfect for dance floors and headphones alike.
