My grandmother passed away recently. She collected ornamental apples, some of which I received when she moved into her retirement home and needed to downsize her collection (ie. the ones that made sounds). These were mainly bells with the largest one being the exception as a music box. I originally planned on composing a piece of music using all of these apples but - after recording the music box to start with - felt like I couldn't really add anything meaningful; there's an obvious poetry in the form of this recording.

How do you like them apples?
