In “Patches” [DSRPTV011], Nørus proposes a meticulous and plural work formulated by 4 tracks. 

The first, Patches, same name as the album, starts the release and the journey through Drum ‘n’ Bass in a Lo-fi vibe. In “Desires”, second track, the bass leads the song merging Indie Dance and synthpop features — leading to brief musical 80's comeback. Both tracks deliver the delicate vocal of Nora Bago. 

The third track, “Polygonal”, explores contemporary breakbeats aspects and an ambience that refers to the nostalgic 90’s games — creating a technological-futuristic atmosphere.

Familiar names to Tiefschwarz’s imprint, French duo Jules & Moss return with the Head Juice EP. As the vivid imagery of the title conjures to mind, the EP journeys through an oozing palette of sounds which, when played at the right time, can take clubbers to another realm.

After releasing on Dirtybird, Monique Musique  amongst a wealth of others, the duo show here exactly why Souvenir is the perfect home for their productions. Making further explorations into electronic sounds, toying with heavy-hitting percussion, earworm vocals, spacious pads and funk-fuelled basslines. Their style is characterized by an atmosphere of their own making, laden with sleaze, enhanced with groove and drenched in originality.

Special guest, Locked Groove, is also called into action here for a remix of the title track in which he strips everything away only to revel in the hypnotic, tinnitus-soaked lo-fi rendition only he can produce.

This time last year I was on my way to the Waiting Room while I was tuned in to Capital Xtra when I was blasted by a guest mix which sounded utterly insane. I found out it was Alinka and Shaun J Wright putting together the mix and i was hooked.

Release number eleven welcomes Chiranuma  — a three piece live band from Moscow with ‘fragment.you’ EP. The band is combining leftfield techno with live mysterious vocals on 3 original tracks of the EP while they build from atmospheric intros into energetic psychedelic melodic trips. On the remixes there is an old company  —  label bosses Uninc & Kolomensky who add some pumping rave power to ‘Buji’ and Panorama Channel who turns ‘Okean’ into mystical trancey breakbeat adventure. 
Last but not least we have bonus free edit for ‘Raby Lampy’ from the Chiranuma itself with oriental roots and wonky feel.
