"Vividity" is the first release by British producer and artist Harri Hocking, under my new solo project "lilac frog", originally released on 14th January 2022.

This new chapter sees "Vividity" being a perfect single for starting this new journey - it's an upbeat, beat-driven, but also dreamy and cinematic-electronic styled song. It encompasses elements from all kinds of genres, ranging from pop, cinematic, liquid drum-and-bass, downtempo, house, and perhaps even garage to some extent.

It's called "Vividity" as the song feels very rich and vivid to me - it's dreamy but at the same is bright and colorful - the inspiration for the sound came from me trying to make a song that was an honest reflection of myself and what I wanted to offer as "lilac frog", which was intentionally a challenge as the track is instrumental. But it's become one of my favourite pieces I've ever produced, and hopefully you like it too!

This EP contains 3 signals – Maor Azulay mastered the art of downtempo techno and deep fat bass, sent his unique track to his friends from Zalmanim Records to remix. 2 more signals born, One by Mime Time and the other By Simon Rose. This is a great EP that takes a great track to road trip between genres and it's a great fun.

Finally I was able to craft version one of this track. If "Techno" is the right main genre, may be put into doubt. I think it is somewhere in the middle of the triangle of techno, trance, house with plenty of vocal and orchestral elements. However, I liked the flow and sonic depth.
