Dear Ruby Hill - Molina Speaks with Randy Runyan

This is an artistic tribute to the young late great right-on-time Corin Chavez, Creative Director of the Black Actors Guild.  I had the honor of working with him as an artist and arts educator.  We collaborated in arts and entertainment settings, in community celebrations of MLK, in the classroom, and in the studio.  I looked forward to a life-long friendship and artistic partnership with Mr. Chavez, though I am blessed for the wealth of laughter he offered me in just a few dozen encounters.  

Thank you Randy Runyan for your accompaniment, and Tyler Breuer for recording us.  Rest in Power Mr. Chavez.  Thank you for the sunshine.

Molina Speaks is a writer, poet, lyricist, performing and recording artist, and live poetic scribe.  Molina is an Artist of the people, a human bridge, and a proud papa of two.  He resides in Denver, Colorado where the next artistic moments and movements are being born as we speak.  Molina draws from his diverse life experiences from rural and urban lifestyles, street and cultural knowledge, and spiritual awareness, documenting the stories, struggles, failures and triumphs of humanity.  

Molina Speaks has released over a dozen independent music projects.  He has been invited to speak, read poetry, and perform music and spoken word at hundreds of events across the United States.  Molina Speaks appears on theater stages, in community centers, bars and lounges, universities, schools, group homes, churches and youth detention centers.  Every performance and presentation is unique to the time and space in which it is experienced.
