Nathan J Carroll writes folk songs to help him make sense of the thoughts in his head.

The 25 year old originally from Cheshire, now resides in Manchester, where he makes music.

Debut single ‘Petal’ out on the 27th August 2021.

‘Petal’ is a song about letting go and finding peace, a song written at the midpoint of the pandemic, after starting therapy. 'I found an old acoustic guitar at my parents house that was falling apart, I glued it back together and started writing songs, almost as a form of journalling to help me sift through the thoughts and feelings I was having.' It is the first of three singles recorded with Joel Patchett at Airtight and Eve Studios.
