My husband has been playing this bass riff since before we started dating many, many years ago and we finally did something with it and hope you like it, be warned, we went heavy on this one!
Here's what its about: If your not a believer, you go to the River (Jesus) to save you from eternal death to wash away your guilty sins that put Him up on the cross where our sin debt was paid.  Go to Him, for His mercy endure forever.. From then out trust in His goodness to save you and not in your own goodness.  We can't save ourselves. For the Believer, there's a lot of "stuff" out there in the world that ends up sticking to us everyday, even when we're walking with the Lord. We go to Jesus(the River) daily to get the filth off.

We need to share His truth and trust in Him. We have to stop watering down the gospel and not only share His love but to also teach on repentance.
