This past year has been the hardest and most challenging year of my life, but also the greatest.I've learned far more than I ever thought possible and done things I would have never imaged. But walking away from this year I'm left with one thing that stands out above all else; God’s love has ruined me and I never want to go back. I've heard before that once you meet Jesus face to face nothing will ever be the same. Everything once desired becomes so mundane compared to an encounter with him. It was just an idea to me, but now has become my reality. 
To be ruined is a concept we all try to abstain from, steering clear of it to ensure we don’t come face to face with the plummet of our success and the down fall of the false sense of self-confidence we've all adopted. But what if, like most things to do with God, to be ruined is actually the reality we all should be striving for.
 Let The Gospel Ruin You. To our natural being, this seems like a faulty statement dangerously filled with fear and self ambush, but to our spiritual being, it is the secret to finding the only true thing our souls desperately need that ultimately builds the steady foundation of faith we are meant to stand on. It is for lack of better words, the only thing that can fix us.
